His emphasis is not on ‘ghost hunting,’ but rather ‘ghost helping,--assisting discarnate, earth-bound human spirits come to terms with their plight and to help them cross-over correctly—thereby bringing resolution to the haunting phenomena rather than sensationalizing it. His training and experience began by following in the footsteps of close personal friends and mentors--Ed and Lorraine Warren, the original ghost busters who started the entire ghost-hunting craze, best selling authors, and movie consultants.

Giving tours in three cities throughout Kansas the metropolitan Kansas City area (Shawnee, Kansas City Kansas and Lawrence), her tour groups have experienced numerous paranormal activities, including photographing full-body apparations and sightings of ghost children in a cemetery. As a history enthusiast, Beth uses her research skills to learn why locations may be haunted and how the events may have left an impression on the land or buildilng itself leading to the paranormal activity. She is an Engineer by day and a paranormal researcher by night. She is also the founder of Alameda Paranormal Researchers which is the resident paranormal group to the haunted USS Hornet. Part of mission as a team is to help the community. Additionally, they support other historic locations by doing fundraisers and promotions. Carter has been interested in paranormal phenomena for many years since she saw her first apparition at age 16. She is always looking for new technology, whether she builds it herself or find it out on the market as well as she loves to work with other researchers and groups. She is also very hard to convince that something is paranormal.
Join Alex Matsuo as she interviews EVP specialist, John Mizzi about the controversial and mysterious paranormal evidence known as the electronic voice phenomenon also known as EVP. He will explain some history of EVP using the work of Jurgenson and Raudive but taking a fresh look at how they gathered the evidence and how it relates to the subject of improving your chances of gathering evp. He will then explain the strengths and weakness of the equipment being used today offering better or new alternatives. All the while using examples of evp as they have progressed through the past 11 years as recorded by John. For the second half, John Mizzi will discuss the “EVP model” as coined by Mr. Mizzi himself and the hypothesis of the “Paranormal Bubble,” which offers an explanation of not just EVPs but could provide a possible explanation to other paranormal evidence. Of course, citing EVP evidence gathered by John for over the past 11 years and based in part by the research of Doctor Barrie Colvin. Who was recently published in the Society for Physical Research on his analysis of poltergeist rapping evidence.
