Why did God wait? | Trials, Suffering & The mystery of Gods timing.

I've been sitting in 1 Kings 17 this week, and I can't stop thinking about this question: Why did God wait three years? Why did Elijah have to sit by a drying brook? Why did a widow have to get down to her very last handful of flour and oil? Why does God so often seem to show up at the 11th hour? We love stories of miraculous provision. What we don't always love is the waiting that comes before it. The suffering. The uncertainty. The wondering if God sees us at all. This week's podcast isn't a polished answer.
