My name is Lissa and I have 2 SEN children. Through conversations with lots of different parents I could hear all the differing stories they had and I wanted those stories to be able to be listened to by parents who are maybe just starting their journeys and to realise that they are not alone. There is support out there if they need it.So it is going to be a weekly chat with different parents of children with SEN. Hearing real life stories about the challenges they can face with getting the support their children need . The day to day life of having a SEN child and the good time and the bad.

Episode 1 - My story so far

The first episode is my story of both my children and the challenges I have faced getting a diagnosis and how the primary school system failed to recognise their needs. We are now waiting to see what the secondary school will put in support for my daughter... I hope you enjoy it and listen weekly to hear more stories of parents and their good times and bad and the challenges they can face day to day In this episode I mention MYOTAS.
