Andrew Loog Oldham began doing PR for Little Richard, Bob Dylan and The Beatles before discovering, managing and producing The Rolling Stones from 1964-1968. He also launched England’s first indie label, Immediate Records. He then went “out to lunch” for 25 years, and upon his return wrote a 3 volume memoir, STONED, 2STONED & STONE FREE and was the lead radio personality on the the Underground Garage channel on SiriusXM for over 10 years. The Sounds and Vision podcast is Andrew's latest creation where he chats with the remarkable men and women he's met along the way who continue to contribute to his remarkable life.

On this episode, Andrew catches up with his Vancouver pal Red Robinson. Red has been said to be the first radio disc jockey to play rock n' roll music in Vancouver on CJOR. Robinson was emcee for the Elvis Presley show at Empire Stadium in Vancouver in 1957 and for the Beatles in 1964. He also became the program director of two Vancouver radio stations, CFUN from 1962 to 1968 and CJOR from 1968 to 1970.

On this episode, Andrew sits down with film director/photographer Jerry Schatzberg who captured intimate portraits of the generation's most notable artists, celebrities and thinkers (from Bob Dylan to Robert Rauschenberg), and he pushed on in the 1970s to the medium of film participating in the renaissance of American cinema, directing films such as: Puzzle of a Downfall Child, The Panic in Needle Park, Scarecrow.

On this episode, Andrew sits down with Montreal radio disc jockey, Dave Kaufman. Dave is the long-time host of "The Exchange" on CJAD AM 800. On his show he covers everything from politics to pop culture. Dave can also be heard talking Montreal sports on TSN 690. On this episode, Andrew and Dave discuss their early rock n' roll influences, differences between the US/UK/Canada, and some of the great Canadian bands including Tragically Hip, Guess Who, Bryan Adams, etc.

On this episode, Andrew sits down with Danny Goldberg who has quite the career in the music business. Danny is well known for managing the careers of artists such as Nirvana, Hole, Sonic Youth, Bonnie Raitt, The Allman Brothers, Rickie Lee Jones, Steve Earle and more. Andrew and Danny take a trip to the beginning of Danny's career and discuss his time working at Billboard and Atlantic Records. They touch on Danny and Andrew's time working with the members of Led Zeppelin, Jerry Wexler, and Bob Dylan.

On the second episode of Sounds and Vision, Andrew talks with Rob Schwartz, CEO of ad agency, TBWA/Chiat/Day.They discuss the concept of Disruption Marketing and how TBWA/Chiat/Day built an entire business on this concept. Little did Andrew know, he was using the same disruption marketing tactics throughout his career working with the Rolling Stones and Immediate Records.
