Description:   Rachel is a full-time missionary with Artists in Christian Testimony International, and uses dance as vessel to minister to others who have experienced sexual assault and/or trafficking.     About Rachel Byers   Rachel is a full-time missionary with Artists in Christian Testimony, Intl. She is a mentor for survivors of sexual violence and helps people find their voice and connect to their bodies through dance. Whether it's a trauma informed dance class for non-dancers, a dance worship class or a professional contemporary dance class, she uses her own experience as a survivor to create a safe place for women and girls. We discuss the topic of confidence, and how Christ is the starting point for true, lasting confidence, and what this looks like in one’s life as a creative.   About Estelle Idoko   Estelle Idoko is a North Carolina-based Voice Teacher, Singer, & Actor. She is a freelance voice teacher and music director with local studios and founded her online voice studio, Creatively Performing Arts. She also hosts the 1.5% globally ranked Sing Confidently, Live Creatively Podcast. In her studio and podcast, she helps adults - especially women - build confidence in their voice and start singing, performing, and creating with confidence again! She performs in theatre productions around NC, has sung background vocals for local artists, sings at open mic nights, and more. She also has a Professional Certificate in Voice from Berklee Online and is a graduate student studying Music and Music Education at Columbia University’s Hybrid program.
