Host Ryan Ribeiro is joined at the top of the show by editor-in-chief Chris Van Buskirk to discuss President Lee Pelton's reaction and plan for the Emerson College community amidst the coronavirus outbreak. Andrew Brinker and Stephanie Purifoy then join the show to talk about what we know and what we don't know in terms of how this affects life on campus and Emerson abroad. To close the show sports editor Ethan McDowell comes on to provide an update on the NEWMAC's plans for continuing the rest of the season and the breaking news regarding Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert.

On this episode of The Berkeley Beacon News Hour, our alumni host, Kyle Bray, filled in for Ryan Ribeiro and was joined by our new Deputy Column Editor, Katie Redefer who led the show with coronavirus coverage from the Kasteel Well. Later on in the show, Digital Managing Editor, Stephanie Purifoy gave an update on the Guy Fieri restaurant -takeover on the corner of Boylston and Tremont St. To tie it all together the trio broke down some of national politics in regards to the Primary races.

Host Ryan Ribeiro is joined at the top of the show by managing editor Jakob Menendez to talk about the Wendell-Judd Cup ski race that took place in Marlboro this past weekend. Later on in the show, Tomas Gonzalez comes on to discuss the increase in identity-based harm reports at Emerson this year. Then, contributing writer Robbie Shinder joins us in studio to reflect on his Parkland article from February 14 that looks back on the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas two years ago. To wrap up the show, Ribeiro runs through a sports update and goes over some national headlines just a little over a week away from Super Tuesday.

Host Ryan Ribeiro is joined once again by SGA correspondent Andrew Brinker to talk about the report that the Student Government knowingly violated their constitution as well as discuss the cementing of power by Executive Treasurer Abigail Semple in her effort to not hire a staff below her. Then, reporter Max Carter joins the show to talk about what some of the current Marlboro College professors told him about the merger with Emerson, and why one professor has already committed elsewhere. To wrap up the show, Ribeiro is joined by sports editor Ethan McDowell and women's lacrosse captain Kelli Mark to talk about the recent coaches' poll that has both the men's and women's team ranked last in their conference. Then, senior SGA reporter Andrew Brinker joins the show again to talk about the delayed Financial Equity Board vote and a possible timeline on a potential vote. Later on in the show, Managing Editor Jakob Menendez comes on to talk about a new ski club bringing some winter fun to the Marlboro community. Also, an update on the results from the New Hampshire primary.
