EP10: Promises | The Dusty Signal - A Fallout 4 Fan Fiction Audio Drama
"Slow is fast..."
A Fallout 4 Fan Fiction Audio Drama
Episode Name: Promises
November 1, 2287 - Log 010
Day Ten - Late Evening
Nate was heading to Diamond City. Then Preston Garvey stopped him at the gate.
One detour. Two settlers farming irradiated soil on nothing but stubbornness and fading hope. A raider camp that never saw him coming. Rounds expended — zero.
But this episode isn't really about the mission. It's about what Nate finally admits out loud — that the Deathclaw scared him. And what that admission says about the kind of man he's becoming.
Ten days out of the vault. He has settlements, allies, a growing network, and a dog that already died for him once.
Diamond City tomorrow. The search for Shaun begins in earnest.
CREATIVE NOTES: Creative license was used in this episode. I am aware that the Raiders are in the Corvega plant in the Fallout 4 game, I changed their location for story and character development... I am also aware that there is no barn at Tenpines Bluff, and they are only growing Tato plants there... Again, creative license for the story I was telling, I apologize to all hardcore lore fans. - Garrick
About The Dusty Signal
The Dusty Signal is a Fallout 4 fan fiction audio drama. DJ Dusty - an original character - presents stories from the wasteland... a campfire on the airwaves, a place for friends to gather.
Season One features recovered Pip-Boy recordings from Nate Campbell, a pre-war covert operative and the sole survivor of Vault 111, as he searches for his kidnapped son in the post-apocalyptic Commonwealth.
Original characters. Faithful to the lore... (kind of).
Built by one Fallout fan, for all Fallout fans.
This is a work of Fan Fiction. Creative liberties are taken from time to time to enhance the characters or deepen the story. All Fallout intellectual property belongs to Bethesda Game Studios. No commercial use is intended or implied... This podcast is free now and will ALWAYS be free.
This series has been created, written, and produced by Garrick Cline. The one man creative force behind Classic Me Studio. This series is assisted by Artificial Intelligence, NOT created by it.
NOTE: Classic Me Studio is a one man operation with a tiny budget... AI software is utilized to create the voices, some artwork, and to help with the backend of running a creative studio. The Dusty Signal podcast is the flagship show produced by the studio. Hopefully, more will follow in the future. I hide nothing of what I am trying to accomplish. The Courier Network
Got something to say? The network is always open.
The wasteland's mail system ain't what it used to be… but, between that drunkard Gee Mail, the "Mr. perfect" Yah-Hoo Rider, that 'ole Hot Mail Girl, the always paranoid Pro-Ton Postman, and the perpetually late Out-Look Express… something usually makes it to my desk... usually.

I read every letter. The good ones might even make it on the air.
Stay Alive.
Stay Strange…
Dusty, Out.
