Kayaking...IN OUR BACKYARD!

We have lived on the Jordan River for 4 years, and kayaked many rivers, but never the one in our own backyard. It doesn't flow much, and the water is murky so we always wanted to go somewhere else. Tunnel Beach, a Lighthouse, and Sand Dunes

We had the BEST time exploring down the Oregon Coast. If you haven't been, you NEED to go. Some places we went are Cannon Beach, Hug Point, Cape Meres Lighthouse, Tunnel Beach, and Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area. Almost to Canada

A 2 hour road trip to the ferry terminal, 1 1/2 hour ferry boat ride, a day full of memories together on an island, then the ferry ride and drive back. Wouldn't trade it for anything! We road tripped 13 hours up to Washington, which is quite a lot! We really debated pushing past our limits and going to see Mount Rainier on this one, for multiple reasons.
