Deacon Lawson and Kingston Jones of St. Augustine High School sit down in the first Purple Podcast of 2026 with multi-Grammy nominated musician, and St. Augustine alumnus, Jenard Andrews. Jenard, a talented artist in his own right, comes from New Orleans musical royalty as the son of James Andrews and nephew of Trombone Shorty. He is currently a part of the legendary Rebirth Brass Band and has created his own band New Breed, which has just been nominated for their first Grammy.
