The Leadership SignalThe Leadership Podcast for Voice Actors, Creative Professionals, and Smallish Businesses.Presented by Psyjnir Media Studios in partnership with Articul8 Studios. When people think of "Leadership", they often think of it as one person put in charge of a larger group of people; however, creative entrepreneurs including voice actors, content creators, and small business owners generally start as or remain single person teams and, arguably, leadership skills are even more important when you are operating as a solopreneur. This podcast endeavors to examine what it means to be a leader from an individual perspective.Leadership matters when you are running your own business - especially if you are running it alone. How you show up every day to tackle the challenges, celebrate the wins, learn from the failures, and plan out the future will ultimately dictate whether your company succeeds or fails. The most important person, the one making all of the decisions and moving forward, the motivational force in the face of setbacks, the leader of your future is... well... you.How does one lead themselves? What are some of the considerations you should make when working with other businesses? When working with your clients? When working with your colleagues? How should you approach asks and tasks we are unfamiliar with? What are the best practices when dealing with failure? How do you gracefully celebrate a success?Your host, Rob Sogomonian, is a talented multi-hyphenate: currently a voice and on-camera actor, producer, director, and has been in various leadership positions for close to thirty years. Starting out by helping his father run the family business, becoming a freelancer to follow his own dream of developing story driven interactive entertainment, shifting into a Regional Technology Director and Trainer role at a top real estate company, and finally coming full circle to focus on his passion for media production and content creation to help empower others to pursue and achieve their dreams.Join him on his continuing leadership journey through this podcast and let him inspire you to confidently take steps forward on your own path, learn to become growth minded, learning based, and conquer every challenge that comes your way.Tune in and Amplify Your Voice!RSSVERIFY Hosted on Acast. episode Mistakes Were Made cover

Mistakes Were Made

Let's talk about what you should do when you make a mistake! As you may have noticed, we've already re-branded the podcast after I realized I used a name that was already taken by Regina Larko on her podcast Lead With Your Voice, which is hosted on her website [https://reginalarko.com/] and focuses on podcast production. I legitimately have no idea how I missed the fact that her podcast existed considering I *did* a fairly thorough search on the name and found absolutely nothing until I uploaded Episode 0 of my podcast... and hers popped up right beside it. Well, OK. Time to pivot! She's been hosting her awesome show since 2020 and I absolutely recommend you go check it out. Next week I'll tell you a little bit more about myself and my leadership journey thus far, and hopefully give some context into why I think I'm qualified to be producing a podcast myself. Make sure you tune in to the signal! The Leadership Signal: Tune in and Amplify Your Voice! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy [https://acast.com/privacy] for more information.
