Matt Mair Lowery, writer and editor of ThoughtScape Comics, talks with artist Karl Slominski. Matt Mair Lowery, writer and editor of ThoughtScape Comics, talks with artist Jeremy Brooks. Jeremy is best known for his work on the Radd Tuffman comic and childrens book series. After working as a graphic designer for over a decade in Charlotte, he decided to move back to his hometown in the mountains of NC. Jeremy discuss his early years as a comic book reader and collector, his artistic inspirations and influences, the greatness of Ba and Moon, and working on Corpus Delicti, the story he and Matt collaborated on that will appear in the pages of TSC #3. Matt Mair Lowery, writer and editor of ThoughtScape Comics, talks with artist Valentine Barker. Valentine is a freelance illustrator and comic artist originally from San Jose, California. He studied illustration at the California College of Arts and Crafts. A regular on the comic con circuit for ten years selling his popular prints, his first graphic novel, The Airless Year  (with writer Adam P. Knave and Letterer Frank Cvetkovic) was published by Dark Horse Comics in 2022. Valentine lent his amazing chops to the ThoughtScape Comics project by creating the cover for TSC #3. Valentine discusses art school, painting, breaking into comics and more in this episode. Matt Mair Lowery, writer and editor of ThoughtScape Comics, talks with writer George Pendle. George is a journalist and the author of three books: Strange Angel: The Otherworldly Life of Rocket Scientist John Whiteside Parsons, The Remarkable Millard Fillmore: The Unbelievable Life of a Forgotten President, and Death: A Life. Strange Angel was adapted into a television series on CBS All Access with Ridley Scott executive producing. Matt and George collaborate on the world-building of The ThoughtScape and the history of LifeTech, the corporation at the center of the ThoughtScape concept, and George wrote the front and back matter for TSC issues #2 and #3. George discusses his background, his novels, his work on ThoughtScape, the adaptation of Strange Angel, and more.
