Whether you are a student, artist, entrepreneur, or [insert your favorite label here] who has always dreamed bigger, you are in good company. My name is Monique Claiborne (you can call me Mo), and I am so glad that you've found your way to the Unconditioned Mode podcast. I'm too complex to categorize (and you are too), but I identify as multi-passionate storyteller, philosopher, super-connector, self-growth coach, and connoisseur of exceptional vibes. Curating experiences that empower people from all walks to life to connect more deeply with themselves, other individuals and the communities they call home is my superpower.
The Unconditioned Mode podcast is my attempt to synthesize the insights and tools I've gained from my wide range of educational, personal, and professional experiences. My limitless curiosity about people and places brought me from Opelousas, LA to Princeton University, followed by a three year stint in Seoul, South Korea. There, I had my hands in everything from leading creative direction at a media startup to hosting food and drink pop-ups. I even taught diversity and inclusion workshops and danced in a traveling burlesque show for a bit. Basically, those were my years of saying “Yes!” Since then, I've been shaking things up in Houston, TX, but I'm a global citizen at heart.
This colorful range of entrepreneurial and creative experiences has taught me that no matter where you are from, your story is your most valuable currency. I am here to help people share their stories with creativity and clarity that unlocks massive value.
