Tough Mudder Yorkshire: Will and Neil Take on the Mud

Will and Neil join us to talk about representing One Fylde at Tough Mudder Yorkshire. Will is taking on the 15K course after months of training, a few injuries and the realisation that Tough Mudder involves far more than a gentle jog through a field. Neil will tackle the 5K course, pushing himself through the mud and obstacles while thinking of his family and the people who matter to him.  They discuss their training, the obstacles they are excited and slightly less excited about, the importance of teamwork and why they are proud to support One Fylde. Voices of One Fylde – Lytham Festival Edition

Bernard popped into the studio to share his excitement ahead of a day at Lytham Festival, where he'll be helping collect donations for One Fylde.  From talking about dancing, meeting people and enjoying the atmosphere, to wondering what food he'll be eating and making everyone laugh along the way, Bernard's enthusiasm is impossible not to smile at. It's a lovely conversation that captures the excitement of being part of one of the Fylde Coast's biggest events and the pride our members take in supporting their community. Shaping Our Tomorrow with Tracey Bush

What does a great day look like for you in 2030? In this special short episode of Voices of One Fylde, Marilyn and Rebecca welcome two judges from BIBAs during their visit to One Fylde. The judges explain what the Best in Business Awards celebrate, what they hope to discover during the judging process and why it is important to understand the real difference an organisation makes. They also hear about the wider work of One Fylde, including Tune-Ability, the café, recycling, the craft group and gardening. The conversation explores why individuals with a learning disability or autism should have the chance to share their voices, tell their own stories and celebrate their achievements.
