Lauretta has as her special guest, former Winds of Change co-host, Mary Fiorito.  Mary talks about attending the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast which was held on March 18th and 19th, 2026 in Washington D.C. contributing to America’s celebration of its 250th Anniversary. Mary and Lauretta highlight the many and varied speakers and their contributions. Margaret Brennan of CBS News mockery of Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth’s request for prayer for our troops was discussed by Lauretta and Mary. Mary and Lauretta talk about the tragic murder of Loya student, Sheridan Gorman who was allegedly shot and killed by illegal alien, Jose Medina, Thursday at Tobey Prinz Beach. ICE lodges arrest detainer against the suspect who has one felony count of attempted 1st degree murder, three counts of aggravated assault by discharge of a firearm and one felony count of aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon. ICE has requested this Venezuelan migrant not be released so that he may be taken into custody. Mary comments on Clair Lei’s update about her father, Jimmie Lei at the prayer breakfast. Episode #4806 Jesus’ Sacrificial Love

Father Anthony with Cristina and Tony are joined by Alice Babij (Bobby).  Father welcomes us, today is the Feast of St. Joseph.  Father leads us in prayer and afterwards reads and unpacks the gospel reading for today.  He then defers to his guest, Alice who today shares from the book “Love Written in Flesh and Blood” by Fr. Scott Haynes.  In the book, Fr. Haynes leads us in mediation of the Passion of Christ via the medical insight of French Surgeon Pierre Barbet. The book leads us to confront the physical reality of what Jesus suffered through the scourging, crucifixion and the piercing of his side. In the reflections, were meant to be led to an awakening in realization of the cost of Jesus’ sacrifice for us.  Jesus’ sacrificial love for us was truly written in flesh and blood.  The book is available at priestleypress.com. Lauretta hosts the program today and shares that today is the Feast of Our Mother of Sorrow and that Pope Leo XIV celebrated his 70th Birthday yesterday.  After speaking to the happenings over the last week, she welcomes her guest host Joyce Duriga, Editor of the Chicago Catholic, the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of Chicago.  In this episode as cohosts, they discuss events happening around the Archdiocese. Joyce chats about a writers retreat that she attended and then shares details/connections to the Canonization of Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati which were canonized this month.  There’s hope that these young saints can inspire the youth. Father Anthony with Cristina and Tony are joined by Alice Babij (Bobby).  Father welcomes us and mentions the positive feedback he’s received regarding the student’s reverent behavior when they attend Church events at other Churches, the effect of the school’s core teachings in Catholicism. After Prayer, Alice returns today to share the book, “The Three Marys at the Foot of the Cross” by Fr. Scott Haynes.  In the book, Fr. Haynes invites women to walk spiritually to Calgary alongside these women.  In the reflections we come to see that feminine love, when tested by suffering, is one of the strongest loves found.
