Anchor Points
Have you ever felt overlooked, forgotten, or like everyone else got chosen before you? Most of us know that feeling all too well. The world loves rankings, popularity, and recognition. But God doesn't assign us numbers. He gives us names. He sees us individually, personally, and completely. David wasn't the obvious choice to become king. In fact, he was probably the last person many people would have picked. Yet God saw something others missed. That's a reminder worth holding onto when we feel overlooked ourselves. Scripture (NIV): 1 Samuel 16:7 — “But the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.’” Reflection Questions: * When have I felt overlooked or forgotten? * Do I define my worth by recognition from others? * How does it change things knowing God sees my heart? 👉 Join the conversation here: https://www.facebook.com/DevinAlmonte/https://www.facebook.com/DevinAlmonte/ [https://www.facebook.com/DevinAlmonte/] 🎙️ Enjoying the show?
