Morning Mantra: "Two things can be true at the same time." We often think in black and white when it comes to our spirituality.   That you are not being spiritually awaken if you feel anything but joy and happy all the time.  But you can feel two things at once.  Spirituality helps you face the human experience, not suppress it. You can be personally happy and heartbroken for the world. You can be grateful for your home and still be bummed you don't have the resources to fix something. You can be angry at the traffic that is making you late and still understand that you must accept it. You can feel tired of your job and still be grateful you have one. You can be disappointed in your riding and still be excited about what there is to learn. And so on.... Emotional Energy Zappers

It feels like people are arguing over things just to release their anxiety.  Or saying hurtful things trying to cling to some sense of control. If you’re one of those that are feeling highly emotional, try another route.  Reduce your stress with a nice walk, a trail ride, a run, some yoga, meditation, prayer, or playing with your kids and animals. If nothing you can say or do will change the outcome, then don't compound things with senseless battles. Don’t Let Your Thoughts Run Your Life

If you think you can’t do something, you’ll stay stuck.  If you interpret someone’s behavior as a reflection of your worth, then you won’t behave in a way that opens your heart for a deeper connection. Control your mind and you can change your life. Grab your power back, don’t believe everything you think. Calm your thoughts.  Get out of your head and back to your heart. Step back from your immediate reaction and look for the truth. New Beginnings
