The problems with which humanity is confronted today admittedly require a possibly unprecedented amount of imagination, such that solutions become clear. The danger of war, financial crisis, world hunger, refugee crises, fascism, drugs, youth violence – one could extend the list of existential crises much further. The simultaneity of all these conditions can only be called a civilizational crisis of mankind. What is clear, is that things can not continue as they have for much longer, which means we are at the end of an era. If humanity is not to exterminate itself, a new paradigm is needed. We must succeed in making the shift, with which we can catapult ourselves out of the current seemingly hopeless geometry, and which brings us to a higher point of view, from which all things are redefined. It means that we must lift ourselves out of the level of seemingly unresolvable contradictions, to a vision of the common aims of mankind. The Schiller Institute’s activity is focused upon four areas: culture, science, economics, and history.

A Human Future For Youth A Beethoven - Driven Renaissance Of Classical Culture

LaRouche Collected Works, Volume I—Two for $75 https://bit.ly/llf-special The fourth panel will be devoted to the need for a renaissance of classical culture, and to the special role of youth in bringing it about. At this moment of history, in which all the foundations of society are shaken, there is an enormous hunger for the beauty of great art, for the lofty ideals of mankind, as they are expressed in the great compositions of classical music and poetry. In all major civilizations there are poets, composers, and philosophers who have celebrated mankind as the creative species, and it will be the dialogue among these cultures, which can and will bring about a new era of mankind. In that spirit, the entire conference will be devoted to the year of Beethoven, whose compositions give people a ray of hope, because they express what humankind is capable of.

Overcoming The World Health Crisis & Hunger Pandemic

LaRouche Collected Works, Volume I—Two for $75 https://bit.ly/llf-special This panel will address the program needed to overcome the devastation of 50 years of neoliberal economic policies on the world, of which the COVID-19 pandemic is only the most obvious example. The world community must agree to establish a world health system, meaning a modern health system in every single country of the planet, if COVID-19 and the danger of future pandemics are to be overcome. As the head of the World Food Programme, David Beasley, has announced, 7 million people have already died of hunger this year, which could easily have been prevented. In light of the immediate danger of 30 million more dying of starvation over the next several months, and 260 million slated to meet the same fate in the next year, there must be a complete change in agricultural policy. The objective must be to achieve food security in every nation and a doubling of food production worldwide. To find answers to these existential threats to humanity requires thinking in terms of a new paradigm. Instead of profit maximization for a privileged financial oligarchy, the interest of the one humanity must be put first: the common aims of mankind. To this end a “Committee of the Coincidence of Opposites,” a concept developed by the great Renaissance thinker Nicholas of Cusa, has been formed, whose aim is to have forces of good will in many nations work together to solve these crises.

“Hang Together, Or Hang Separately” Free And Sovereign Republics, Or Digital Dictatorship

LaRouche Collected Works, Volume I—Two for $75 https://bit.ly/llf-special This panel will discuss the implications of the present drama playing out in the United States, for the global struggle to replace the current bankrupt financial system with a New Paradigm designed over five decades by Lyndon LaRouche. The conference is being held on the eve of the December 14 meeting of the Electoral College, deciding who the next President of the United States will be. By that time the evidence of the charges of vote fraud; the claim of President Trump’s lawyers that they have documented evidence that he won the election; the methods of the vote fraud as reported by whistleblowers; and exposure of other capabilities and actions that are part of a threatened coup d’etat in the United States, will have made clear the panorama before which the Electors have to make their choice. This conference panel will bring together distinguished experts from the fields of the U.S. Constitution, law, and intelligence, and will bring forth the dramatic relevance today of Benjamin Franklin’s answer to the question posed to him, the question of what kind of government the United States had received from him: “A Republic,—if we can keep it.”

episode Building A Mass Movement To Counter The Collapse Of The International System artwork
Building A Mass Movement To Counter The Collapse Of The International System

In reflecting on the just-concluded Schiller Institute two-day conference, Helga Zepp LaRouche emphasized the significance of the question posed by Jacques Cheminade, a former candidate for President of France, in his address during the 4th panel. Cheminade asked, "Why is there no mass movement to counter the present global crisis?" In her review of the developments of the last week -- from the ongoing battle to overturn election fraud in the U.S., the escalation of anti-Russia, anti-China actions by the same networks behind the fraudulent Russiagate, and aggressive moves to impose the Global Reset -- Zepp LaRouche came back to the importance of creating a cultural Renaissance to address the systemic collapse underway. It is crucial that we take the advice of her late husband, Lyndon LaRouche, to "Think Like Beethoven," so that we can rise to the level of thinking needed to overcome what otherwise is a crisis which threatens the survival of humanity. She urged people to celebrate the 250th birthday of Beethoven by listening to his music, viewing the Schiller Institute (SI) conference, and then joining the SI to move mankind into a new paradigm.
