Wow...here we are one-year later and it is hard to beleive that we will be celebrating our first anniversary on June 4th. So, to honor our first year, we are going to take a trip back down memory lane and look at where we have come from and we peer into the future of where we are going. Audre Lorde, in The Transformation of Silence into Language and Action" from her book Sister Outsider, wrote "Your silence will not protect you. I am not only a casualty, I am also a warrior." These words highlight the importance of our dialogue about the work that has and continues to be done on behalf of the LGBT same-gender loving community - specifically with womyn of color. SoulSistas "Live" is featuring panel discussions with the advocates and activists whose voices cannot and will not be silenced.
