Get Ready for Part II of Our Advocacy Roundtable Discussion

Audre Lorde, in The Transformation of Silence into Language and Action" from her book Sister Outsider, wrote "Your silence will not protect you. I am not only a casualty, I am also a warrior." These words highlight the importance of our dialogue about the work that has and continues to be done on behalf of the LGBT same-gender loving community - specifically with womyn of color. SoulSistas "Live" is featuring panel discussions with the advocates and activists whose voices cannot and will not be silenced. April’s show was very enlightening, informative and empowering, and we are equally excited about our Part II segment scheduled for Wednesday, May 6th at 7:00 PM (EST). During this show, we will have another powerful discussion with our panel, which includes Francine Ramsey, Executive Director of the Zuna Institute, D. Magrini, Director of Health Education & Rachelle Dixon, Health Edu Associate & Information Designer of the Mautner Project, and Mandy Carter, Activist. I am also excited that our very own Virginia Adams (LuvleLady), Sistahs, Inc. Administrator, will be joining us as well, so be sure to mark May 6th on your calendar and tune into our show. You can kick it with us live by dialing 646/478-3929 or hit us up in the chat room at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/SoulSistas-of-Sappho [http://www.blogtalkradio.com/SoulSistas-of-Sappho] We look forward to having you join us and please spread the word to your contacts and friends...this is a show you don't want to miss!! La App va francamente bien y el precio me parece muy justo para pagar a gente que nos da horas y horas de contenido. Espero poder seguir usándola asiduamente.
