He joins Steve to talk about what he enjoyed about the men’s World Cup, a tough loss to a last place team for your Minnesota Loons earlier this week and to dust off the Gopher football cobwebs. Andy speaks to the lack of push from Loons ownership to invest and bring more talent in to help a struggling team. They also touch on the stark contrast of today’s college athletes compared to seasons past.

Steve Carney joins Steve Thomson as he does each week. Fresh off a bountiful morning Carney says the fishing has been weirdly good despite the return of the heat. He says the fish are where the wind has been blowing. Carney also suggests that fishers should be bringing a bag of ice with them to help the fish in the live well that can spoil if left to the natural elements in this heat.
