No human dialogue appears anywhere in the piece — every person the deathclaw encounters is perceived only through scent, sound, and movement, never through language it has no way to understand. The result is a wasteland history told from outside the human perspective entirely: caps, rifles, power armor patrols, and Caesar's Legion all still present, but registered only as weather the deathclaw has learned, over a long life, to read.
