November 2, 2025 - Heaven, Hell and the End Times - Wk 1

This week we begin a new series on the book of Revelation called "Heaven, Hell and the End Times." It seems like everyone is talking about the end times and wondering what will happen and when. The Bible is full of prophecies and mysteries surrounding the coming "Day of the Lord." Even Jesus told us to watch for the signs of his return, so we wait and watch. But the scripture tells us we have a job to do while we wait and that as we eagerly look for Christ's return we should remain alert and active doing the work of the kingdom, and reaching the lost with the gospel. This is the third week of our series, "Faith like a child" and in this series we have been revisiting Old Testament stories often told to children to look for the plan of salvation foreshadowed within. We often think of Old Testament stories as just that... stories... but in truth they are more than that, they are the real-life experiences of men an women who lived and trusted God to deliver them in their time. This week Pastor Brad walks us through the story of Joseph, and we see much more than a multi-colored coat we see God's salvation plan through Jesus laid out in the life of a man who lived in ancient Egypt. Today we consider the story of Noah as Pastor Brad delivers a message on the meaning of God's salvation plan through Jesus foreshadowed in the harrowing tale of world-wide destruction and God's grace to Noah and his family through the provision of an ark.
