Yoga Matters Podcast
Thoughts? Questions? Feel free to get in touch - we'd love to hear from you :-) [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2442259/fan_mail/new] In this episode, we discuss the Sutras - one of the most important texts in yoga philosophy. We introduce what the Sutras are, where they come from, and why they still matter. We look at how the text is structured across its four 'books', and what Patanjali (it's author) actually meant by 'yoga' — which has very little to do with what most of us do on a mat. Whether you're new to yoga philosophy or you've been practising for years, the Sutras offer a framework that goes far beyond the posture, and we light-heartedly scratch the surface of them here. Emma and Andy try to keep their podcasts light-hearted and unedited, wherever possible, allowing for a more natural conversation style and an authentic representation of their characters. They aim to provide information and entertainment by mixing their knowledge, research and personal experiences with debate and (occasional) opposing view points. :-) If you would like more information about Emma and Andy or Learn Live Give and what they are trying to achieve, please go to www.learnlivegive.co.uk for more information.
