Flexibility and Agility in Frontline Technology
Rob Davies, Implementation Manager at Zaptic, joins Richard to discuss flexibility and agility in frontline technology. They talk about adopting digital solutions, the importance of continuous improvement, how to build value for operators, what the software industry can learn from the manufacturing industry, and how to innovate in the manufacturing world.
Rob graduated from California Polytechnic State University, where he worked as an industrial engineer before making his way into Process Engineering. Among many other improvement projects, he was also a process engineer for E & J Gallo Winery - the largest winery in the world by volume
For Rob Davies, he knows that one solution will not work for all sites. He believes the best solutions are flexible. He would love to see a world where levels are removed and operators can create value by building their own digitisation.
