Tässä jaksossa käsitellään kaksi eri henkirikosta, kahdelta eri vuosikymmeneltä ja kahdesta eri maasta. Tapaukset ovat kuitenkin sidoksissa toisiinsa motiivin takia. Ensimmäinen jakson tapaus käsittelee 19-vuotiaan Brian Deneken henkirikosta, joka tapahtui punkkareiden ja urheilijoiden yhteenotossa vuonna 1999 Teksasissa. Billy Jack Gaither oli nelikymppinen mies ja hän asui Sylacaugan pikkukaupungissa Alabamassa vuonna 1999. 212: Väärän oven takana

Lokakuussa 1992 kaksi 16-vuotiasta poikaa olivat matkalla uuden kaverinsa järjestämiin Halloween-juhliin Louisianan Baton Rougessa. Toisen pojan isä oli tulostanut heille ajo-ohjeet, koska kumpikaan heistä ei ollut vieraillut kaverin luona aikaisemmin. Erehdys talon numerosta johdatti pojat väärän oven taakse kohtalokkain seurauksin. Vain muutamassa minuutissa eskaloitunut tilanne johti toisen pojan kuolemaan. Oikeudenkäynnissä puitiin sitä, oliko kuolemaan johtanut ampumavälikohtaus oikeutettu. Matthew de Grood oli 22-vuotias vuonna 2014. Hän oli juuri valmistunut psykologian kandidaatiksi ja suunnitteli jatkavansa opintojaan lain parissa. Keväällä hänen läheisensä huolestuivat miehen oudoista somejulkaisuista ja puheista, jotka liittyivät muun muassa maailmanloppuun ja vampyyreihin. Huhtikuun 14. päivänä lukukauden päättymistä juhlittiin opiskelijabileissä, joihin myös Matthew de Grood osallistui. Ilta päättyi tragediaan ja viisi nuorta kuoli.
