Whether it’s picking friends, deciding how to spend your time, or choosing what’s right when nobody’s looking, the path you take matters. Proverbs 16:16–17 reminds us that wisdom is far more valuable than material wealth—it guides us through life’s twists and turns. Meanwhile, Galatians 3–4 shows us that before Jesus came, people were bound by rules and striving for perfection. But Jesus brought freedom and a new identity, giving us the chance to live with purpose, guided by faith instead of fear. Choosing wisdom isn’t always easy—it may mean standing out, waiting, or doing the right thing even when others don’t. But when you seek God’s guidance, your choices build a path that is steady and life-giving. Value Wisdom Over Stuff: How often do you prioritize wisdom and understanding over instant gratification or material gain (Proverbs 16:16)? 2. Freedom in Faith: How does knowing Jesus frees you from just trying to “follow rules” change the way you make decisions (Galatians 3:23; 4:4–5)? 3. Choose the Right Path: What are some practical steps you can take this week to walk the “highway of the upright” instead of following the crowd? ________________________________________ BOTTOM LINE Wisdom and faith guide your steps more than wealth or popularity ever will—trust God’s guidance and follow His path. ________________________________________ PRAYER Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me wisdom and the freedom that comes through Jesus. Your words, decisions, and how you treat others are opportunities to show Christ’s character. Live Boldly: Paul trusted God’s guidance over human approval. God cares more about the way we live and the choices we make than the numbers, likes, or applause we might get from others. Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 10–11 show that even when he faced challenges and critics, he trusted God’s power instead of human approval. His “boasting” wasn’t about showing off; it was about letting God’s strength shine through his weaknesses. In the same way, your value doesn’t come from appearances, popularity, or how much you have—it comes from living with integrity and relying on God’s power in your life. Life can feel like a battle sometimes, with pressure to fit in or succeed at any cost.
