If you’re from California you build Lowrider model cars, if you’re from Florida you build big rims or donk model cars and everything in between is a gumbo pot of builders. Let’s talk about it and we won’t push any negativity upon their group because I’m sure they’ve created a space for people to find joy and bond through their passion; However, we as model car artist need a space that gives us happiness and Values our opinion regardless of ethnicity, gender or age and IPMS has failed to do so. It is without a doubt we as model car builders have no true appeasement when attending nor is the judging committee understanding at an IPMS/USA show. It’s Enough emails being sent out with little to no change being made, it’s time we create our own pathways and do something as a WHOLE. Let’s make Scale Model Car Shows great again.
