Reordering The Priorities In Your Life

What happens when someone truly sees the value of the Kingdom of God? Everything changes. In this powerful message, we explore the parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl from Matthew 13 and discover that the Kingdom of God is not simply an addition to life—it becomes the center of life. We live in a world constantly telling us what matters most: money, influence, success, comfort, image, pleasure, and achievement. Yet even after gaining those things, many people still feel empty. Why? Because the human soul was never created merely to possess things. The soul was created to possess God. 📖 Matthew 13:44–46 reminds us that the Kingdom of Heaven is worth surrendering everything for: “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field…” “The kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls…” This message unpacks two beautiful perspectives from the parable: • We seek Christ as the pearl of greatest price. • Christ seeks us as the precious pearl He was willing to give everything for. Pain enters. Grace covers. Time deepens. Beauty emerges. When we truly encounter Jesus: • Priorities change • Appetites change • Identity changes • Purpose changes The Kingdom becomes the lens through which everything else is understood. This teaching also explores the powerful difference between forgiveness and atonement: Forgiveness releases the debt. Atonement deals with the damage. Through Jesus, we don’t simply receive mercy—we receive restoration, reconciliation, healing, and new life. Ultimately, this message points us toward hope and reminds us of the mission God calls every believer into: 1️⃣ To Know & Experience God 2️⃣ To Find Friends & Freedom 3️⃣ To Make a Difference With Your Life Once someone discovers the treasure of the Kingdom, they can no longer live shallowly. They begin carrying hope, healing, truth, reconciliation, and light into the world around them. 📖 Key Scriptures: Matthew 13:44–46 – The hidden treasure and pearl Matthew 6 – Treasures in heaven John 10:10 – Life abundantly through Christ Romans 5 – Reconciliation through Jesus Ephesians 2 – Grace, salvation, and restoration The mission of the church is to proclaim the power and presence of God, hold fast to His Word, and carry the hope of Jesus into a broken world. How To Create Healthy Friendships

From the very beginning, God declared that we were not meant to do life alone. In Genesis 2:18, God says, “It is not good for the man to be alone.” We were created for relationship—with God and with one another. This message explores the power of healthy, God-centered relationships and how significant life change often happens in the context of community. Whether it’s friendships, family, marriage, small groups, or church relationships, the people around us shape who we are becoming. Healthy relationships don’t happen accidentally—they are built intentionally through love, honesty, forgiveness, commitment, and a healthy heart. 📖 Five Characteristics of Healthy Relationships: 1️⃣ Healthy relationships start with a healthy heart (Luke 6:45) 2️⃣ Healthy relationships require love and respect (John 15:12) 3️⃣ Healthy relationships need honest communication (Ephesians 4:15 / Hebrews 10:24) 4️⃣ Healthy relationships will require forgiveness (Colossians 3:13) 5️⃣ Healthy relationships grow through commitment (Proverbs 27:17) This message is a reminder that freedom is often found when we stop isolating and start allowing God to work through trusted relationships and authentic community. We are not designed to carry life alone. God uses people to sharpen us, encourage us, heal us, and help us grow into who He created us to be. 📖 Key Scriptures: Genesis 2:18 (NLT) – It is not good for man to be alone Luke 6:45 – A healthy heart produces healthy words and actions John 15:12 – Love one another as Jesus loved us Ephesians 4:15 – Speaking the truth in love Hebrews 10:24 – Encouraging one another toward love and good works Colossians 3:13 – Forgive as the Lord forgave you Proverbs 27:17 – Iron sharpens iron Romans 12 – We all belong to each other as the body of Christ No matter where you are in your relationships today, God invites you into deeper connection, stronger community, and the kind of friendships that lead to lasting freedom and transformation. The Secret To Lasting Joy And Purpose

This Mother’s Day weekend, we celebrate the incredible impact of mothers, families, and the people who shape our lives through love, sacrifice, and faithfulness. This message reminds us that the way we see ourselves—and the way we live each day—flows directly from our identity in Christ. In Ephesians 1, we’re reminded that before the world was even created, God chose us, loved us, adopted us into His family, and purchased our freedom through Jesus. Identity impacts everything. When we know who we are in Christ, it changes how we parent, how we lead, how we love, and how we live. We also look at Hannah’s powerful prayer and surrender in 1 Samuel 1. After praying for a child, she gave Samuel back to the Lord, recognizing that he belonged to God his whole life. There is wisdom in settling ownership early—understanding that everything we have ultimately belongs to God. This message also encourages us to enjoy life, embrace repetition and consistency, and discover true joy through humility and serving others. Real transformation is often built through small daily habits of faithfulness over time. And ultimately, Jesus teaches us that true joy is found not in clinging to our own lives, but in surrendering them to Him. 📖 Key Scriptures: Ephesians 1:4–7 (NLT) – Chosen, adopted, and redeemed in Christ 1 Samuel 1:26–28 (NLT) – Hannah dedicates Samuel to the Lord Ecclesiastes 8:15 (NLT) – Enjoying the life God has given us Galatians 6:9–10 (NLT) – Don’t grow weary in doing good Philippians 2:3–7 (NLT) – The humility and example of Jesus Matthew 10:39 (NLT) – Finding life through surrender Whether you’re a mom, celebrating a mom, grieving, hoping, or simply reflecting on the people who shaped your life, this message is a reminder that God sees you, values you, and calls you to live from a secure identity in Him. Why Is There Pain And Suffering In The World? | Tough Questions

Pain and suffering are some of the hardest realities we face—and one of the most honest questions we can ask is: If God is good, why does so much pain exist? This message walks through six layers that help us process pain and suffering through a biblical lens. First, we start with God’s nature. Scripture is clear—God is good, and there is no darkness in Him (1 John 1:5). He does not cause evil or tempt people toward it (James 1:13–15). Even when life is painful, we can trust that God is for us, not against us (Romans 8:31). Second, God created laws that govern the world. There are natural consequences to actions, and we live within a system where cause and effect are real. Galatians 6 reminds us that we reap what we sow. Third, God gave humanity free will. Love requires choice, and with that comes the possibility of wrong decisions. From the very beginning, God has allowed people to choose—whether to follow Him or go their own way (Joshua 24:14–15). Fourth, we live in a broken, sin-filled world. Sin entered through humanity in Genesis 3, and ever since, the world has been marked by pain, injustice, and suffering. Not all suffering is directly tied to personal sin, but all suffering exists within a fallen world. Yet even in that brokenness, God is still at work. In John 9, Jesus makes it clear that hardship can become a platform for God’s power to be revealed. In Genesis 50:20, we see that what was meant for harm, God can use for good. Fifth, God gives us grace to get through. He doesn’t promise a pain-free life—but He does promise His presence and strength in the middle of it (2 Corinthians 12:9). And finally, we must acknowledge our limited understanding. God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8–9). There are things we won’t fully understand on this side of eternity—but we can trust the character of God even when we don’t understand the circumstances. The hope we hold onto is this: pain is not the end of the story. Revelation 21:4 promises a day when God will wipe away every tear—when there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain. 📖 Key Scriptures: 1 John 1:5 (NLT) – God is light, no darkness in Him Hebrews 12:11 (NLT) – Pain that produces growth James 1:13–15 (NIV) – God does not tempt Romans 8:31 (NLT) – God is for us Galatians 6:7–8 (NIV) – Reaping what we sow Joshua 24:14–15 (NLT) – The power of choice John 9:1–3 (NLT) – God’s power revealed in suffering Genesis 50:20 (NIV) – God works good from harm 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV) – Grace in weakness Isaiah 55:8–9 (NLT) – God’s ways are higher Revelation 21:4 (NLT) – The end of pain This message doesn’t ignore pain—it gives us a framework to face it with faith, trust, and hope in a God who is still good, still present, and still at work. Are These The End Times | Tough Questions

In Week Three of Tough Questions, we tackle some of the most common—and often complicated—questions people have about faith, the Church, and how to live it out. Why are there so many different denominations? How do we grow a church without losing care for people? Can Christians be cremated? How do we hear God’s voice? Are we living in the end times? This message helps bring clarity by separating essentials from non-essentials. When it comes to denominations, many differences come down to polity (how churches are structured) and theology (how Scripture is interpreted). But at the core, the mission remains the same: Jesus’ command to go and make disciples (Matthew 28:18–20). The diversity of churches doesn’t have to divide us when we stay centered on that mission. As the Church grows, the challenge becomes balancing outreach with care. In Acts 2, we see a model of both—people being added daily while also being deeply connected through teaching, community, and prayer. Healthy growth requires both large gatherings and smaller, relational environments where people are truly known and cared for. Some questions are more about personal conviction than biblical command—like cremation. Scripture doesn’t give a direct mandate, which means believers can approach it as a matter of personal preference guided by wisdom and faith. When it comes to hearing God’s voice, it’s not about a single moment—it’s about consistent patterns. Consistent intake of God’s Word, consistent community, and consistently taking next steps all position us to better discern His voice in our lives. And what about the end times? Scripture makes it clear that difficult times will come (2 Timothy 3:1–5), and Jesus Himself spoke about future events (Luke 21:10–11). While there are many interpretations about timelines and details, the takeaway is not fear—it’s awareness and urgency, paired with trust and hope. Not every issue carries the same weight. Romans 14 reminds us to avoid arguing over non-essentials and instead focus on unity, grace, and love. At the end of the day, we are called to live differently—to be marked by compassion, humility, forgiveness, and love (Colossians 3:12–17). That’s what truly sets the Church apart. 📖 Key Scriptures: Matthew 28:18–20 (NLT) – The Great Commission Acts 2:40–42 (NLT) – The early church model Acts 20:20 (NIV) – Public and house-to-house ministry Exodus 18:1–22 (NLT) – Delegation and structure 2 Timothy 3:1–5 (NLT) – Signs of difficult times Luke 21:10–11 (NIV) – Jesus on the future Romans 14:1–3 (NLT) – Unity in differences Colossians 3:12–17 (MSG) – Living marked by love This message brings clarity to complex questions while pointing us back to what matters most—following Jesus and loving people well.
