A late-night sighting of an unexplained "six-foot Man-Goat" has got local residents spooked according to the local paper. The incident happened on the A425 near the village of Staverton at around 2am in the early hours of the morning on Sunday February 2022 A foul-mouthed ghost [https://www.mirror.co.uk/all-about/ghosts] who tells walkers to “f*** off” is still said to be haunting locals who are growing fed up of the rude and nasty spirited apparition. The local legend of an angry ghost who shouts and swears at visitors to Dead Woman's Ditch, a beauty spot in the Somerset's Quantock Hills area I never expected to find anything on my Mother’s side as I believed as she did that her paternal and maternal ancestors came from Ireland when the Manchester ship canal was built. But now, after tracing her heritage I was amazed to find that is not the case and it led me to a mysterious death never investigated, a coach with a heraldic flag, and a Victorian child born out of wedlock who it is said is descended from a certain Lord through DNA on my Mums, Fathers side. As the map has now outgrown its data usage I have to remove a vast amount of information from it as people are having difficulty accessing it. BBR Witness Gaz H - "Hi Deb, I wanted to get in touch with you after you shared the case where two ladies saw some horrible creatures along the cliffs close to Flamborough head and RAF Bempton. My partner and I had a very similar experience when we visited there in 2022/23. We were staying at a place called Wold farm in the campervan which sits between Dane Dyke and the Cliffs and we were at the top of the farm overlooking the corn fields. The fields are on a steep incline that then drops down as it nears the cliffs. It was at dusk when I saw two creatures I could not identify in the corn field, everything about them was 'off', the way they moved and the build was what caught my attention. As we get closer to Yule many of our old traditions come to the fore and we celebrate this magical season and have done since time began, some traditions, like the Yule log, or adorning the Christmas tree and the great feast have followed us into the modern age.
