While stopping to charge, we met Steve, who was driving a brand-new BYD battery electric bus from Melbourne back to Sydney. He generously allowed us to film the bus, explore the interior, and even sit in the driver's seat. We also learned some fascinating details about Australia’s growing fleet of electric buses, including the massive 382 kWh battery pack, the use of BYD blade batteries, and how these commercial EVs charge compared to electric cars.
