Grateful for Love

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. God's wisdom is needed for every believer who want to honor God and be a blessing to others.

v30 - God- lovers make the best counselors. Their words possess wisdom and are right and trustworthy. v31 - The ways of God are in their hearts and they won't swerve from the paths of steadfast righteousness. (The Passion Translation Ps. 37: 30 - 31

You are blessed when you have worked up a good appetite for God. He is food and drink in the best meal you will ever eat. (The Message Matthew 5:6) Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires; God will satisfy them fully. (Good News Translation Matthew 5:6) We were all made to have an intimate relationship with God. For any of us who accept this priceless invitation of oneness, we will never grow hungry or thirsty again.

Getting close to God will involve the taking in of His word on a consistent basis and being willing to follow and obey what He says. As we continue to put off the old ways of the world's system and take in God's ways, we will find ourselves becoming transformed and renewed just as He desires us to become - more like Him. My soul yearns for you in the night, in the morning my spirit longs for you. (Isaiah 26:9)

Proverbs 4:20 - 22 "Listen carefully, my dear child, to everything that I teach you, and pay attention to all that I have to say. Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being."
