Recap/Roast: RHOBH S16E1, Hot Girl Summer

A new season starts off with the same stale storylines...vague details about Kyle's relationship confusion, Dorit's frustrations with PK, Erika's continued indifference to Tom's fate, his wake of devastation, and her ongoing legal troubles, and Boz's unexplained eagerness to be Dorit's bestie. The season will include two new housewives, with Rachel Zoe resurrecting her successful BravoTV career and starting strong by catching us up on her life, family, businesses, and the reasoning behind her recent separation. Fellow RH newbie, Amanda Frances, will make her debit in episode two. Throughout, remnants of the Fox Force Five clique seem to find pleasure in Sutton's misfortunes, bringing up the loss of Garcelle and Avi several times before Erika also body shames her. It wasn't a season premier that left a feeling of excitement or anticipation, quite the opposite, but in that way it was certainly memorable. Recap: RHOSLC S6E13, Greek for the Week

Angie's long-awaited trip to Greece is the focus of this episode with Heather and Mary preparing by learning important Greek phrases from Angie's dad and Aunt, Whitney expressing concerns to terse Tater Todd, and Lisa naming and packing luxury labels. After a long day+ of travel, the women gather for a picturesque dinner in Santorini where they savor the locale and cuisine while fighting about Cartier watches. Lisa being the only person to arrange for glam, coupled with her accusation that Angie copied her by buying a Cartier watch, the group agrees that Lisa is too fixated on her appearance and labels. Recap: RHOSLC S6E12 First Amendment Rights and Wrongs

As the episode gears up for Bronwyn's American citizenship celebration of a "Spill the Boston Tea Party", we get a tense scene between Whitney and Justin that delves into her fillings of resentment about the MLM debacle that wiped out Wild Rose Beauty. Also, Heather reflects on another daughter leaving for college, Bronwyn fulfills her charitable orders of Pride flags with her mother, and explains her regret about losing Whitney's trust to Tater Todd while she's dressed as an inflatable sloth. Recap: RHOSLC S6E11 Ladies Who Lunch, The Sequel

Mary hosts another fabulous lunch at Valter's in Salt Lake City, complete with red carpet and fighting fish. On the agenda is the ongoing quest to resolve the mid-air conflict between Meredith and Britani, despite Britani not being invited. Lisa and Meredith continue to alienate themselves from the group by presenting different recollections of what happened on the plane but they quickly realize the group won't be swayed and insists on an apology to Britani. Then the episode goes from traumatic situation to traumatic situation, Britani and her daughter Olivia in therapy, Bronwyn discussing the loneliness she feels knowing her daughter and mother will soon be moving out, and Heather showing the world a very disturbing mattress.
