Members Reviews: Scarlett Thomas on top form Best children's book we've listened to in ages. Other worlds, magic, nicely pictured, dark enough without being scary. Good story, good foundation for a series A good story, which gets better as it goes and draws you in. My only real gripe is that there is no gap between the end of the chapter and Roger telling you it's now chapter x. This is really annoying as it jars and stops you getting lost in excellent narration Enjoyable story If you could sum up Dragon's Green in three words, what would they be? Interesting and enjoyable What about Roger Allams performance did you like? Good clear narrative. I enjoyed his reading of the book very much. Any additional comments? A very good story, well paced and very well written. I am looking forward to book 2.

Pedro The Ugliest Dog In The World by Papa G. this is such an adorable story, I can't say enough of how I love this book! The cover is darling, to start! Look at that face, just look, lol. Pedro can't get adopted, I can't tell you too much but he ends up in a town where they think he is EL Chupacabra because he is so ugly. It gets so funny and crazy from there! Such a fun story, I just love this book!!! I am going to send this to my grand kids! It is too great. Thanks Papa G for making this old lady smile! Good story... ...and not just for kids. I really enjoyed this story. It's predictable but not boring. This author shares his storytelling with skill. Definitely worth a read. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Fantastically funny & enjoyably entertaining! I loved Pedro so much, I used this book for a competition piece. My students love everything about Pedro and his posse. They are having the time of their lives digging into the crazy characters Papa G creates: Dave, Mayor, Lizard King, El Chupacabra, and Bonita! The language is just perfect for my teenagers who want to push the limits of language but stay tasteful. We thank Papa G for allowing us the use of Pedro and his process to becoming the bravest dog in all of Mexico! Kudos to the book and the author for a job well done! Give us more My granddaughters and I read this as a bedtime story. The "fluffing" did give me pause for a moment but I kept on pushing. We laughed so hard. We had a long discussion about what Pedro was going to do after El Chubra.... came to town. This story had a great ending which my granddaughters and I loved. In fact we ordered Fing and are waiting to read it. Thank you for a wonderful story. Don't get discouraged about the fluffing.
