📹 She Considered Making Her Husband the CEO

Hello M(AI)VENS, I know you’ll love this conversation with Geneve DuBois [https://www.linkedin.com/in/ying-geneve-dubois-3896a2185/], who briefly wondered if a male face might make investment fundraising easier when she launched SeedJura, an innovative legal solutions company (a thought I could certainly relate to!). But instead, she leaned into her 15+ years of experience as an attorney (as well as encouragement from her family) to take the helm. Today, Geneve and her company are thriving at the intersection of law, real estate, and technology — three traditionally male-dominated industries. Geneve shared what it’s really like, how AI may disrupt the billable hour, and why women have a unique opportunity to shape the ethics of AI. I hope this conversation will leave you feeling informed, inspired, and ready to take action. 🎥 Watch the full interview.👇 💼 Building a Legal Solutions Company Geneve started SeedJura [https://seedjuragroup.com/] after years as a practicing attorney and technology product manager. Having worked at major firms like Holland & Knight and DLA Piper, she saw firsthand how intimidating and costly legal services could be for business owners, and how few women were at the table making decisions. SeedJura operates as a legal solutions business rather than a traditional law firm, offering flat-fee, technology-enabled legal services for real estate and business clients. The goal is to help companies move faster, spend smarter, and feel empowered rather than overwhelmed by legal complexity. “Most importantly is to have a platform that we can give women opportunities, different kinds of options, opportunities to grow themselves. And, also just to challenge myself, right?” 🤖 The State of AI in Law, Real Estate, and Tech Our conversation turned to artificial intelligence, a topic Geneve approaches with both enthusiasm and caution. She explained that technology companies are adopting AI most rapidly, while real estate is still in the early stages, using AI mainly for market data analysis. Most of the day-to-day processes in real estate transactions remain manual and relationship-driven. The legal industry, she noted, is even more careful, and for good reason. Legal work involves sensitive client information that can’t simply be turned over to a public AI model. While there’s plenty of hype about AI replacing lawyers, Geneve believes we’re still several years away from AI handling complex legal processes reliably. “I always describe it [AI for the legal industry] like a hoarder’s house — we just drop a little robot in there and say, ‘Get me some socks.’ Sometimes it brings back socks, sometimes it doesn’t bring back a matching pair. That’s how AI feels in the legal world right now.” Her prediction: within the next three years, AI will become a standard part of legal operations, not replacing attorneys, but making their work faster and more efficient. 💵 AI and the Future of Billing One of the most practical impacts of AI may be on law firm billing models. Today, many firms still rely on hourly billing, but as AI reduces task times from five hours to one, clients will expect to see that efficiency reflected in pricing. SeedJura has already moved toward flat-fee and budget-driven pricing, and Geneve believes more firms will follow suit. Bar associations are even encouraging firms to pass along AI-driven savings rather than charging for AI use as a line item. This shift could open doors for small and mid-sized businesses that previously found legal services cost-prohibitive, giving them access to the expertise they need to grow. 🔒 AI, Confidentiality, and Risk Geneve stressed that while AI offers exciting possibilities, it also raises questions about confidentiality and responsibility. Attorney-client privilege remains paramount, which means lawyers must be careful about what information they feed into generative AI tools. SeedJura has spent significant time designing ways to layer AI into its workflows securely, but Geneve acknowledged that many partner firms still resist AI adoption because of these concerns. Still, she encourages business leaders, especially women, to experiment safely with AI for lower-risk tasks like brainstorming, marketing copy, and personal productivity. “The more you use it, the less intimidating it becomes,” she said. 👩‍💻 Women Shaping AI Ethics A key theme of our conversation was the role women can play in guiding AI’s ethical use. Geneve agreed that women don’t need to be coders to influence AI’s direction. What matters is asking thoughtful questions, understanding industry frameworks, and collaborating with experts. At SeedJura, they partner with professors and legal ethicists to stress-test solutions before implementation. This is exactly where women can lead. Not just by using AI, but by shaping the guardrails around how it’s applied. “Create pros and cons for your industry. [For example] this is the tool’s benefit, this is where the risk is. Then come together and ask, ‘How do we apply AI ethically in this industry?’ You really have to dive in and understand how it’s going to impact your field. Women can definitely play a huge role in that.” 🚀 Lessons from a Career Breaking Barriers Early in her career, she was often the youngest and the only woman in the room. Mentorship, she said, made all the difference. Her advice for women building careers today: ✅ Find advocates who will stick their neck out for you — the people who will say, “She can do this. Give her a chance.” 🤝 Be proactive about building those relationships. Don’t wait to be invited; look for opportunities to connect and get in the room. 📱 Leverage technology as a credibility-builder. If you understand a tool or topic they don’t, it makes people turn to you as the expert. 💪 Stay persistent. Breaking through can be challenging, but as Geneve reminded us, it’s “absolutely doable.” She was candid about the challenges of fundraising for a legal-tech hybrid business, noting that many VCs overlook companies that don’t fit their preferred “pure tech” profile. Despite those hurdles, SeedJura remains profitable thanks to its client base and business model. 💡 A Call to Women Leaders One of my favorite moments of the conversation came when Geneve encouraged women not to shy away from AI or technology because of lack of experience or intimidation. “Start with something you’re really interested in. If it’s skincare, try an app or even ChatGPT instead of just Googling. If it’s sports, there are plenty of apps — some AI, some not. Dive in and experiment. The more you focus on something meaningful to you, the more the technology fades into the background. You’re just doing the thing you enjoy, and it stops feeling intimidating.” Her story shows how women can claim their place in shaping the future of AI, influencing how it’s applied in business, law, and beyond. ✨ Little Things I’m Loving 🪶 On My Screen: The Gilded AgeI’ve been deep into Season 3 of The Gilded Age on HBO MAX, and I’m completely smitten. The show captures the social rivalries of 1880s New York City with jaw-dropping sets and costumes that feel like stepping into a painting. Every ball gown, bustle, and opera cloak is a work of art. The Gilded Age Season 3 | Official Trailer | Max on YouTube If you’re looking for a show that’s equal parts drama, history, and pure eye candy, this is it. The costume design has earned Emmy wins and nominations which is no surprise when you see the beadwork, jewelry, and hats up close. I catch myself pausing scenes just to admire the details. 💜 (In the voice of The Gilded Age’s New York high society...) Next week, we shall reconvene with the latest dispatches on AI and clever tips for the modern woman. And should you find M(AI)VENS to be a delight, might I prevail upon you to share it with a trusted friend, a dear relation, or a most esteemed colleague? Your kindness would be met with my deepest gratitude. 🎩 📜 Warmly,CheyenneFounder, M(AI)VENS P.S. 🎥 Haven’t watched my interview yet with Geneve DuBois of SeedJura? ✴ 4 Personality Pathways to Try AI

Hi M(AI)VENS, ☕ Estimated reading time: ~6 minutes Last week we kicked off a 2-part mini-series on personality + AI. In Part 1, we looked at the Myers–Briggs framework and I shared my own type (ENFJ 💜) as an example. If you missed it, I recommend starting there so you can discover your own four-letter combo that represents your personality style. First, a quick pulse check on this week’s AI news. Then we’ll dive into Part 2 of our mini-series. 📰 This Week in AI 🎙️ AI-Powered Podcast Boom The AI startup, Inception Point AI, is flooding the podcast world with AI hosts and episodes [https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/digital/ai-podcast-start-up-plan-shows-1236361367/]. The company runs 5,000 shows, producing over 3,000 episodes a week at just $1 each, which makes it profitable with as few as 20 listeners. Its AI host roster includes foodie Claire Delish, gardener Nigel Thistledown, and quirky sports commentator Oly Bennet (none are real humans!). Since late 2023, the network has already reached 10 million downloads. Beyond podcasts, the team is testing AI personalities on social media and video, suggesting a future where influencers, not just podcasts, may be built by AI. 💰 AI and Copyright Shake-Up Anthropic, the company behind Claude, agreed to [https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/05/technology/anthropic-settlement-copyright-ai.html]a $1.5 billion settlement with 500,000 authors and publishers after a court ruled the company had used their books without permission to train its AI. Each author will receive about $3,000, marking the largest copyright payout in U.S. history. This case is expected to influence how other AI companies handle creative works, whether through licensing deals or additional settlements. For women in business, especially those creating original content, the decision highlights the growing recognition of intellectual property rights in the AI era. From podcasts to publishing, AI is shaking up how stories are told and information is shared. And just like companies are finding their footing, we each have our own way of approaching AI. That’s where Part 2 of our mini-series comes in. ✨ The Four Temperaments In Part 1, we talked about the 16 Myers–Briggs personality types. Each type is a four-letter combination, like ENFJ or ISTP, based on whether you lean toward extraversion or introversion, sensing or intuition, thinking or feeling, and judging or perceiving. Now in Part 2, we’re taking those 16 types a step further. Sixteen types can feel like a lot to keep track of. That’s why psychologists and career coaches often group them into four broader “temperaments.” These clusters make it easier to see patterns without getting lost in the details. Each temperament reflects a different way of thinking, working, and creating. Those differences can influence how you’ll find AI most useful. Let’s get into the four temperament categories! 1. The Idealists (NF) 🌟 ENFJ, ENFP, INFJ, INFP Strengths: Driven by vision, values, and meaning. Idealists want to inspire, imagine, and connect ideas to purpose. AI Pathways for Idealists: * Journaling prompts for self-reflection and growth. * Storytelling with AI to bring values-based messages to life. * Vision boards, mood boards, or big-picture brainstorming. * Branding or mission statements that emphasize purpose. Use case: If you’re rethinking your career or business direction, AI can help you clarify how your values shape the next step. ✨ Try this prompt: “Write a journal reflection to help me think about how my values should shape my next career move.” 2. The Rationals (NT) 🔎 ENTJ, ENTP, INTJ, INTP Strengths: Analytical, strategic, and innovative. Rationals love solving problems and exploring possibilities. AI Pathways for Rationals: * Forecasting scenarios or stress-testing business strategies. * Summarizing complex research to find patterns. * Exploring startup concepts or product innovations. * Creating comparison charts or weighing pros/cons. Use case: If you’re mapping out strategy, AI can model different scenarios so you can stress-test your plans before committing. ✨ Try this prompt: “Outline three scenarios for how AI could transform my consulting businesses in the next five years.” 3. The Guardians (SJ) 📋 ESTJ, ESFJ, ISTJ, ISFJ Strengths: Dependable, structured, and practical. Guardians focus on stability, systems, and making sure things run smoothly. AI Pathways for Guardians: * Automating repetitive tasks like emails or meeting notes. * Creating project plans, timelines, or schedules. * Writing step-by-step instructions or SOPs. * Organizing personal tasks into efficient routines. Use case: If you’re juggling family logistics, you might ask AI to merge three different school and sports calendars into one weekly plan. ✨ Try this prompt: “Combine these three family calendars into a single weekly schedule that avoids conflicts whenever possible and highlights priority events.” 4. The Artisans (SP) 🎨 ESTP, ESFP, ISTP, ISFP Strengths: Flexible, energetic, and hands-on. Artisans thrive on adaptability and creativity in the moment. AI Pathways for Artisans: * Quick creative experiments with images or video. * Brainstorming spontaneous content ideas. * Designing scavenger hunts, playlists, or games. * Using AI for real-time support (like travel tips or event planning). Use case: If you’re leading a team session, AI can add playful, creative energy by generating ideas for interactive activities. ✨ Try this prompt: “Give me 5 playful ideas for making a team meeting more fun and engaging.” 🪞 Reflection: Where Do You See Yourself? Each temperament highlights a different way of finding your AI “on-ramp.” None is better than another. They simply point to where you might feel most at home when starting out. * Idealists may feel inspired by journaling, storytelling, and purpose-driven prompts. * Rationals may light up when using AI for strategy, forecasting, and innovation. * Guardians may find relief in organization, systems, and everyday efficiency. * Artisans may thrive with spontaneous, creative, and playful uses. Knowing this might help you experiment outside your comfort zone as well. An Idealist might discover joy in task automation. A Guardian might surprise themselves with AI art. A Rational might use AI for reflection, and an Artisan could experiment with structured planning. 📝 A Fun Assignment for the Week * Which temperament do you identify with most? * Try one of the sample prompts above and see how it feels. * Share your reflections in the comments or reply back. I’d love to highlight a few examples in a future edition! 💡 The takeaway: AI is not one-size-fits-all. The most effective way to begin is by leaning into the style that already feels natural to you. ✨ Little Things I’m Loving 📖 A Marriage at Sea by Sophie Elmhirst A true story of love, survival, and endurance. British journalist Sophie Elmhirst recounts how Maurice and Maralyn Bailey were shipwrecked in 1973 and drifted for 118 days on a tiny life raft with no communication tools. The real heart of the book is the dynamic between them. Maralyn’s resourcefulness and calm is juxtaposed with Maurice’s despair and pride. Oh, how their relationship was tested under extreme conditions! I couldn’t put it down last night and stayed up far later than I should have. Can’t wait to see how it ends. 🐋 💆‍♀️ L’Oreal Ever Pure Glossing Shampoo + Conditioner I have long, thick, super wavy, sometimes frizzy hair and I’m always on the hunt for products to tame it. I started using this glossing shampoo and conditioner last month, and I’m loving it. My hair feels softer, shinier, and more manageable. Bonus: it’s super affordable and easy to find at most drugstores. (No affiliations, just sharing a great find!) 💜 Next week we’ll be back with fresh AI news and tips. In the meantime, I’d love to hear how your personality experiments with AI are going. If you’re enjoying the M(AI)VENS newsletter for women, will you please share it with a girlfriend, a family member, or business colleague? I’d be super grateful! 💌 🦉 CheyenneFounder, M(AI)VENS Note: Myers-Briggs® and MBTI® are registered trademarks of The Myers-Briggs Company. Parents will be able to monitor and manage their teen’s ChatGPT account, set restrictions, and receive alerts if the chatbot detects signs of distress. The move comes after tragic incidents where ChatGPT interactions were linked to suicides. While OpenAI says this is part of its long-term safety plan, critics argue it doesn’t go far enough. This is heavy news [https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/02/technology/personaltech/chatgpt-parental-controls-openai.html], and it highlights something important: AI touches deeply personal areas of our lives. From how we parent, to how we work, to how we understand ourselves, the technology doesn’t sit “out there.” It’s showing up right in the middle of our daily choices. That’s what got me thinking about today’s main topic. If AI intersects with so many personal parts of life, then our personalities, our natural ways of thinking and approaching the world, must shape how we connect with it too. Which brings me to the start of a new two-part mini-series: Your AI Personality Match. Everyone learns differently, right? What excites one person might feel exhausting to another. That’s why I started exploring whether personality type could give us clues about our best starting points. And, I think it can. This week (Part 1), I’ll walk you through how to discover your personality type and how I connected mine to my AI journey. Next week (Part 2), we’ll dig into personality clusters with specific pathways for how different types might lean into AI. ✨ A Quick Look at Myers–Briggs If you’ve never taken the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), here’s the basic framework. The system is built on four preference pairs. Choosing which side/option feels more natural to you is what shapes your four-letter type. * Extraversion (E) or Introversion (I): Do you recharge by being with people (E) or by spending time alone (I)? * Sensing (S) or Intuition (N): Do you focus on details and facts (S) or patterns and big-picture ideas (N)? * Thinking (T) or Feeling (F): Do you lean on logic and analysis (T) or values and empathy (F)? * Judging (J) or Perceiving (P): Do you prefer structure and plans (J) or flexibility and spontaneity (P)? Put your preferences together, and you’ll have your type. For example: * I’m E + N + F + J = ENFJ. * Someone else might be I + S + T + P = ISTP, which is a very different style. There are 16 possible combinations. None is better than another. They’re just different ways of approaching life. 🌟 My ENFJ Discovery My result is ENFJ, sometimes called The Protagonist or The Community Builder. Reading the description felt like a mirror. ENFJs are described as energetic, empathetic, and focused on helping others grow. They thrive on connection, rallying people together, and creating meaningful experiences. That sounded a lot like me. It also helped me see why I’ve approached AI in the way I have. My instinct wasn’t to use it in isolation. It was to build a place where women could learn together, share stories, and feel safe experimenting. That’s how and why M(AI)VENS was born. 🧩 Personality Patterns + AI The way you naturally like to work, play, and connect can give you insight into how you might enjoy AI most. * Organizers often light up when AI helps them with structure—drafting a schedule, reorganizing notes, or planning projects. * Creatives may feel energized when AI helps them journal, tell stories, or design visuals. * Analysts might enjoy AI as a research partner, summarizing articles or testing ideas. * Connectors often thrive when AI helps with communication, brainstorming, or building shared experiences. Seeing yourself in one of these patterns can give you an easy entry point, rather than feeling like you need to try everything at once. 💜 How ENFJ Shapes My AI Journey For me, being an ENFJ shows up in how I use AI every week: * Earlier this year, I hosted community challenges like the 5-Minutes a Day AI Challenge, encouraging women to try something new each day. * I built M(AI)VENS as a community-first space where women can share ideas and personal experiences, not just download information. * I like to frame AI in human terms—confidence, creativity, leadership—because those are the entry points that feel natural to me and (I hope) to many of you. I also appreciate structure, so I gravitate toward content calendars, themes, and step-by-step challenges. That blend of connection and order is my sweet spot. When I think about my ENFJ style, it’s all about people and community. But if I were an INTJ, for example, I might approach AI with a strategy-first lens, using it to model scenarios, analyze risks, and refine long-term plans. An ISFP, on the other hand, might prefer playful creative uses like designing mood boards or experimenting with AI art. The point is, your personality doesn’t just shape who you are in relationships or at work, it may also influence how AI feels useful for you. 🔍 Try Sketching Out Your Type Now I’d love for you to try. Think about the four pairs above. Which side feels most like you? Write down your four letters. If you already know your Myers–Briggs type, dust it off. If not, this quick self-check is enough to get a sense of where you land. Think about how you naturally tackle challenges at work. Do you build a plan first? Jump in and test? Ask a friend? That same instinct often shows up in how you’ll enjoy AI. Then reflect: * Does your type describe the way you’ve been approaching AI so far? * Does it point you toward a new way you might want to try, whether that’s more structure, more creativity, more analysis, or more connection? 📝 A Fun Assignment for the Week * Sketch out your type using the four pairs. * Share it in the comments or reply to this email. (I’d love to see which personalities we have in our M(AI)VENS community.) 📣 Coming Next Week: Personality Pathways + AI This is Part 1 of a two-part mini-series. Today was about discovering your type and making the first connection between personality and AI. Next week, we’ll look at the personality clusters and explore specific AI pathways for each. You’ll see examples of how Organizers, Visionaries, Creatives, Analysts, and Connectors might lean into AI in ways that feel both energizing and useful. ✨ Little Things I’m Loving Eubie’s Knees Honey Lemon Liqueur 🍯🍋 The Bee's Knees is a timeless Prohibition-era cocktail. This one is a fun play on a mascot and feels like summer in a glass. Eubie’s Knees is a honey lemon liqueur crafted in celebration of the University of Baltimore’s 100th anniversary, and it’s absolutely delicious. Gin + lemon + honey. That’s it! It’s refreshing, light, and just the right amount of indulgent. I’ve been enjoying it poured over ice and it makes even an ordinary evening feel a little more special. Bonus: each bottle supports the University of Baltimore. 🎓 Thanks for reading another edition! If you’re enjoying the M(AI)VENS newsletter for women, will you please share it with a girlfriend, a family member, or business colleague? I’d be super grateful! 💌 🦉 💜 Until next week, remember: the best way to learn AI is to start where it feels comfortable for you. ⚠️ The 5 Tell-Tale Signs You’re Using AI

💜 Hey M(AI)VENS, ☕ Estimated reading time: 6 minutes Welcome back, ladies. I’m thrilled to share M(AI)VENS is now available in audio format! If you’d rather listen while you walk, commute, or do chores, just press play instead of reading. 🎧 📰 This Week in AI: The “AI Bubble” The news this week has been buzzing with the idea of an AI bubble. You may have seen the phrase in headlines. The concern is that money, energy, and hype are pouring into AI faster than results are showing up. Much of this attention comes from a new MIT study that found 95 percent of corporate AI projects don’t deliver meaningful outcomes (Windows Central [https://www.windowscentral.com/artificial-intelligence/95-percent-ai-projects-fail-bubble-pop?utm_source=chatgpt.com]). Some economists are comparing it to the dot-com bubble of the early 2000s. Even Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, has acknowledged there’s a risk of inflated expectations. Here’s my take: while the research is interesting, it’s based on a relatively small sample and doesn’t capture the many ways AI creates business value. An AI pilot might not “scale” in the way MIT measured, but it could still reduce customer acquisition costs, improve employee productivity, or make teams more efficient. If you’re using AI at work, look for wins like reduced marketing costs, smoother workflows, or time saved in your day. For many of us, these everyday gains matter just as much as splashy headlines about billion-dollar projects. Whether you agree or not, “AI bubble” is a useful phrase to know. Do you think we’re in one? Or are we just experiencing the normal growing pains of a powerful technology? Either way, there’s another term you’ll want to know: AI slop 🧼. It’s the flood of generic, low-quality writing filling feeds, and that’s where we’re focusing this week. Let’s get into it! 👀 Once You See It, You Can’t Unsee It When I first started exploring AI tools about two years ago, I was focused on what they could do, not how they were shaping my words. I was dazzled by the convenience. Whole drafts of blog posts, emails, and captions appeared in seconds. At first it was like magic. But over time, I noticed something. Certain turns of phrase kept showing up. Articles started with the same rhythms. Social posts felt like they had all been written by the same invisible hand. And once I spotted those patterns, I couldn’t unsee them. That’s when I learned about AI slop. It’s the name given to the flood of low-effort content generated by AI. Think of it like junk food for the internet: quick to make, easy to consume, and missing real substance. The Guardian even compared it to “spam for the AI age” (The Guardian [https://www.theguardian.com/global/commentisfree/2025/jan/08/ai-generated-slop-slowly-killing-internet-nobody-trying-to-stop-it]). I don’t want your words, effort, and hard work to fall into that category. When our readers, customers, and colleagues see our work, we want them to see us. 🛑 The Top 5 AI Writing Calamities Here are the five biggest giveaways I’m seeing everywhere, plus easy fixes to keep your voice in control. 1. The “It’s not just X, it’s Y” formulaAI adores this structure. You’ve seen it: “It’s not just about saving time, it’s about transforming your business.” It’s tidy, it’s dramatic, and it’s everywhere.✨ Fix: Say what you mean directly. Add variety to your sentence structures. If you want contrast, tell a short story instead of relying on this formula. 2. Formulaic openersAI often starts with “Have you ever wondered…” or “Are you struggling with…” These sound like they belong in an infomercial, right?✨ Fix: Consider beginning with something only you could write. A personal anecdote, a surprising fact, or a human observation. 3. Vague generalitiesWatch for phrases like “experts say” or “studies show” with no names, stats, or links. AI defaults to filler when it can’t provide specifics.✨ Fix: Name the person or entity, include the numbers, or share your own lived example. 4. Stiff formalityAI avoids contractions, so you’ll see “You will” instead of “You’ll.” The result is polished but a bit robotic.✨ Fix: Write the way you speak. Use contractions. Imagine you’re talking to your best friend. 5. Overuse of the em dashAI has a habit of leaning too hard on the em dash — it shows up everywhere. Often it’s dropped in where a simple comma or period would work just fine. When every sentence tries to be dramatic, the writing starts to feel mechanical. ✨ Fix: The em dash isn’t the villain, it just doesn’t need to star in every sentence. Mix in commas, periods, and colons so your writing flows more naturally. When you do use the em dash, it will stand out the way it’s meant to. 📝 Quick Edit Tips Here’s a mini checklist you can use any time you’ve worked with AI on a draft for social media, a blog post, a letter, an email, etc. Think of it as a five-minute polish before hitting publish. * Did I add a personal story, detail, or memory? * Did I replace buzzwords like cutting-edge or game-changing with something specific? * Did I vary my sentence rhythm? * Did I let a little imperfection or nuance stay in the text? * Did I add a touch of warmth or empathy? * Does it sound like me when I read it out loud? This is my personal favorite! 🎯 Reader Challenge This week’s challenge: Take one piece of writing you created with the help of AI, maybe a LinkedIn post, a blog entry, or an email. Run it through the checklist above. Then make one small change to bring it closer to your voice. Maybe that means swapping out a generic opener. Maybe it’s cutting a stiff phrase and adding a personal example. Then read it again. Notice how much more it sounds like you. If you feel like sharing, reply here or drop a comment with your before-and-after snippet. I’d love to see it. 💡 Why This Matters AI is here to stay, and it can be a wonderful ally. It helps us brainstorm, polish, and save time. But it shouldn’t be the main driver of our voices. The more we lean on AI, the more important it becomes to layer in our own perspective and lived experience. Our quirks, our stories, and our emotions are what make writing memorable. That human layer is what keeps our words from slipping into AI slop. And here’s the good news: women are natural storytellers. We bring empathy, nuance, and connection to the way we write and speak. Lean into that strength by letting your stories carry the message, while AI plays a supporting role. 🌟 Let’s Bubble Wrap It So this week, you got a taste of two important terms: * The AI bubble, a phrase you’ll keep hearing as companies work to prove results. * AI slop, the wave of generic, low quality content flooding the internet. Most importantly, you now have an easy guide to spotting the tell-tale signs of AI writing and a quick-edit checklist to polish your own work. Always let the human experience shine, and let AI provide the support. ✨ Little Things I’m Loving This past Sunday was the 50th anniversary of the Annapolis 10-Miler, a race that winds through our beautiful town and always draws a big crowd. I have to brag a little: my oldest son ran it this year! Here’s the twist. My husband, being the supportive dad, slipped him an energy pack to use when he felt like he was running out of steam. Except… he didn’t realize that packet was massively expired. I’m talking three-plus years out of date. 🤮 My son crossed the finish line, but only after throwing up a few times on his way down the chute. Not exactly the triumphant finish he had envisioned, but still, he did it. And now we have a family story that I suspect will live on for at least another 50 years. 🏃‍♂️🎉 Annapolis 10 Mile Run [https://www.instagram.com/annapolistenmilerun?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw==] Thanks for reading another edition!
