Maternal Mental Health Unscripted and Uncensored

Podcast by Jennifer Silliman

Sharing my postpartum depression and anxiety journey, whether on the big screen, at a support group or in line at the grocery store…my story saves lives. I would literally scream it from the mountain tops if I could. I can’t, so I let the audio waves do it for me.

Jennifer’s Story: Pregnancy and Postpartum Anxiety

Jennifer's pregnancy started out amazing, but after a diagnosis of placenta previa it became more complicated and she became consumed with anxiety. What followed was a traumatic birth and 6 months of suffering in silence with a mood disorder that almost took her life. 10 years later and now with a bipolar 2 diagnosis, Jennifer is back in the maternal mental health world encouraging mothers to seek out the treatment they need and give them the hope to know they will get better.
