NC 18: Wisdom Sequestered from an Ancient Landscape - Peter Andrews OAM

What an honour to sit with such an Elder in Peter Andrews OAM. I was joined with my sister Danielle and her partner Charles Body to have a beautiful conversation with Peter. I’m reminded of a quote I read from Caitlyn Johnson “Whomever controls the narrative controls the people” and the understanding of this is so pertinent when cracking open “popular” agendas. This chat with Peter is a perfect example of cracking the narrative and introducing, at the very least, a conversation that entertains possibilities beyond current agendas. We delve into the incredible uniqueness of the continent of Australia. A continent that, in Peters eyes, holds the blueprint of how to create an incredible harmonious and fertile land, beyond what was there prior to humanity arriving. We touch on the impact of the flora and fauna with the use of fire, clearing and farming techniques imposed on what was a balanced, climate perfect ecosystem. Peter takes us through simple, yet powerful insight into the heating of the land, how water has been managed and sequestered dysfunctionally; that the gum tree is a sign of poor soil and ways to move water and nutrients throughout the environment. Peter also discusses how he witnessed the impact of a biodiverse pasture creating 5 champion racehorses and terminally sick cattle returning to optimised health. All this wisdom has been gleaned from the greatest experiment and successful demonstration being the Australian continent. For decades, Peter has been bringing these insights forward and I can hear the frustration he has with the falling on conveniently deaf ears at the bureaucratic level. For me, I see that dynamic change occurs from the groundswell of critical thinking at an individual level, and Peter still has hopes that the political stage and scientific establishment need to be the way forward. This is more than a theory for Peter with a lifetime of evidence through application of this wisdom in many farms and rural holdings. As a lot of us have developed a healthy critical thinking barometer of popular narratives, this is a conversation that invites you to also delve deeper into our stewardship of this amazing earth. NC 17: Curating Our Life - Anita Toi

Anita is one of those gorgeous Sols where her presence just invites a calmness and grounding to come forward. Anita reached out to me after hearing one of my podcasts and asked if I’d join her on her newly formed inner awakening podcast as a guest. We instantly clicked. I’m so honoured to have another beautiful conversation with Anita. In our conversation we flowed and meandered through so many beautiful topics. We talked about her early years as an Art Curator in Melbourne, then the embracing again of her curious heart to set herself off on a beautiful journey in knowing herself. Archetypes, symbology, astrology and Human Design formed part of this delicious banquet we enjoyed together. Serendipity and synchronicity has been evident in our connection. From Magpies to even realising we actually lived around the corner from each other as kids, many moons ago. Anita Toi is a Soul Alignment Coach based between New Zealand and Australia but works with people all over the world. She specializes in helping people find their purpose, by helping them to strip the layers of conditioning, revealing the True Self that they are here to Be and share with the world. Anita uses the tools of Human Design and Astrology as well as her intuitive gifts to show people the innate gifts and strengths they came into this lifetime with and help point them in the direction of their unique north star. In her coaching practice she incorporates techniques such as story work, energetic healing and breathwork to guide clients through a process of enhanced self-awareness to help them begin to change any narratives that no longer serve their highest purpose. She has come to this work after thirty years in the field of clinical natural health and the healing arts and brings a very holistic viewpoint to what it means to thrive as a Soul having a human physical experience. When she’s not working or devouring books or podcasts on all things Truth, Freedom, health and spirituality, Anita can be found out in the ocean gazing at the horizon from her surfboard trying to call up dolphins to share the waves with. I really encourage anyone wanting to delve into a greater knowing of themselves, having a space held by an incredible coach, to reach out to Anita. www.anitatoi.com [https://www.anitatoi.xn--com-9o0a/] https://www.instagram.com/innerawakeningwithanita/ [https://www.instagram.com/innerawakeningwithanita/%E2%80%9D]

NC 16: Alchemising Chaos - James Greenshield

“One person’s chaos is another person’s playground” – James Greenshield We’ll I’m back after a recalibration time for myself and I’m so stoked to launch with a second conversation with an incredible bloke. I’m so honoured to be able to chat with this stella human being again. From my first connection with James about 10 years ago, as a guest presenter for “Grab Life By The Balls”, I’ve found him to be a beacon of inspiration and a demonstration of the Sacred Masculine. James had a massive career of 17 years in the Australian Army, training and leading over 100 men into Iraq. A roadside bomb exploding under his vehicle kicked him into a direction of a deep invitation to know himself. At the point of having a stellar career mapped out and a significant safety net (James articulates this as above him not below him) and reaching the opportunity to be promoted into the rank of Lieutenant Colonel he stepped away, but more so toward his place on the planet. They say when the student is ready the teacher appears. This is so incredibly pertinent for myself as I’ve been experiencing a level of “Chaos” that to me has been unapparelled in my life. There have been many opportunities (and tears) to desperately want to escape my current experience (or perception of it), but there is a knowing that, sitting at the core there is a liberation beyond what I could manipulate from utilisation of old tools/programs. A liberation that creates a beautiful harmony within and ultimately expressed harmonically out. What James brings forward is what I would call the “gaps between the notes”, the place where true harmony abides. James has a way of looking behind the curtain and articulating in “real” language a way of seeing what has been unseen from our own vantage point. In this episode we dive into another nutrient dense conversation on chaos, leadership, union between the form and formless and much more. For us to move forward as an individual and community it must start from a level of realness. So, let’s get real. James is about to launch into an incredible three-month course on Harmonic Teams – Harmonic Leadership Program on the 14th of August 2024. “Conflict is not the issue – So Don’t try and resolve it. The causal issue sits below the surface and the symptom is the conflict. Resolve the conflict, the cause will resurface. Leaders don’t resolve conflicts; they see through them and empower their team to grow from the experience. If you’re a leader wanting to take yourself to the next level, join the Harmonic Leadership program starting 14th Aug.” This course is a beautiful opportunity to delve into you. The team for me is more than just the business environment it’s any environment with a collection of connected individuals. For me family comes to mind. For more information on the course message James via the below links. Sit back and enjoy this chat with James, indulge, share and courageously embrace the incredible Sol you are. Big Love Duncan For further connection with James: https://www.emergentleadersfoundation.org/ [https://www.emergentleadersfoundation.org/] james@emergentleadersfoundation.org [james@emergentleadersfoundation.org] The intent for these recordings is to be unhomogenised and unpasteurised conversations that aligns with real life. The falling over words, the poise and challenge in moments to understand how to verbalise what’s wanting to come forward, is part of the realness of nutrient dense conversations. So, with that, I have to say I’m embracing and enjoying watching my own clunkiness as I explore my expression through this space. I hope you too hold space for yourself, friends, family, strangers yet to know and myself as we navigate enriched conversations on this journey.   Intro Music: Victory by MaxKoMusic | https://maxkomusic.com/ Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/ Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-SA 3.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ [https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/]

NC 15: Wisdom of the Land – Danielle MacMartin & Charles Body

I recorded this conversation just before I launched Nutritious Conversations and it’s one I’m really stoked to now bring to life on the podcast. Danni is my sister and one of the most incredible Sol’s I know. She has such a passion for life and this permeates into all facets of her beautiful presence.  Danni’s partner Charles encapsulates such a healthy expression of the Sacred Masculine. His ability to hold space, not just in their relationship, but in his absolute passion for the land, flora and fauna of this beautiful earth is humbling. I love these two Sol’s immensely and am honoured to be their kin. This conversation is one that will present a deeper enquiry of how do we be the best stewards of  supporting Mother Nature? There are some challenging insight brought forward around how human’s have facilitated the damaging of the land over tens of thousands of years. Danni and Charles live on the south coast of NSW. Their three hundred and sixty acre farm was right in the middle of the path of the fire storm that hit there several years ago. The decimation of native species from one burning event, eludes to asking the question, “Is fire the best way to manage earths environment?”. Couple this with, the pillaging farming practices and the hijacking and perversion of words such as sustainable, natural and organic, we are now at a unique crossroads in the trajectory of our land. This is a great conversation to sit and listen to with an openness, that invites you to question popular narratives around the future of land management. Big Love Duncan The intent for these recordings is to be unhomogenised and unpasteurised conversations that aligns with real life. NC 14: Uncaging the Sacred Masculine

“My aim is to provide a process and a platform for men to feel comfortable to connect deeply with themselves. I believe this is the way to complete health – the mind, body and soul approach.” Jack May From the very first interaction I had with Jack, at a mutual friend’s gym, I could see this bloke was genuine, life loving and heart lead. Having been a chippy, then a healthy food entrepreneur, he morphed again into combining all these facets helping blokes build and nourish their best version of themselves and their lives. Passionate about knowing himself, Jacks all in on creating a living example of his innate expression and the embodiment of the Sacred Masculine. Curiosity, Compassion and Courage is a key to his beautiful expression, which is the premise that underpins his work and incredible coaching space “Wildman Wellness”. I love the question on Jacks webpage (Wildman Wellness): “What will it feel like to spend another 3,6,12 months where you are right now, knowing you could’ve done something about it?” Topics we delve into includes: * Understanding our nervous system * Internal Family Systems * Masculine – Holding space and safety * Birth * Self-doubt and “Courage to be disliked” (Book he’s also currently reading). * Breaking out of the masculine cage * The Wildman Wellness space And so much more. This conversation is an invitation to step beyond your inertia into the radical empowered life you deserve to live. Linking in with Jack, through his webpage, is an incredible courageous step you can take to be the embodied version of your best self. Hit play, sit back and enjoy this great chat.
