On the fifth episode of Search & Seizure, we had Dion Boyd join us to talk about his journey from High School through College, to where he is now as the founder of Up Your Equity. See his bio below. “My name is Dion Boyd, founder of Up Your equity, a financial education company dedicated to empowering people economically by teaching them how to build wealth through the stock market and Bitcoin. I was born and raised on the South side of Chicago attending Lindblom Math & Science Academy for high school. Upon graduation, I was fortunate to receive the Posse Full-Tuition Leadership Scholarship to attend Pomona College in Claremont, California. At Claremont, I received my Bachelor's degree in Economics. Upon graduation, I began my career working in Finance, specifically, in corporate & investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where I worked for three years before leaving to work for a Billionaire family office here in Chicago. My role at the family office was in their Corporate Development group where we managed the company's 10 companies that they owned as well as helped them find and buy additional companies to add to the portfolio. I left the company on November 15th, 2021 to pursue my own dreams, goals, and ambitions full-time.” The major scholarship that Dion received was the Posse Full-Tuition Scholarship.
