HOLY SH*FT! Episode #4: 5 Website Mistakes You're Probably Making

Free Training On How To Build the Strongest Version of Your Business Possible In 40 Minutes/Week: bit.ly/freevideoreveals40 [https://corey68d72d.clickfunnels.com/optin5b5g0spi] In this episode of the Holy Sh*ft Podcast, Corey Michael and Devin Tracy discuss the 5 largest mistakes found on most websites (including poor SEO and no clear calls to action). They explain that just because a website is up, does not mean it will be found. SEO is a critical part of website visibility, and there are different types of SEO, including on-page SEO, which involves creating well-written content with keywords that your target audience would use to search for your site. Search engines like Google crawl websites and use this content to determine how a website is displayed in search results. They also note that there is a significant difference between basic website content and deep SEO optimization, which involves optimizing every HTML tag, adding metadata to images, and structuring the site for easy reading by search engines. Key Points: * Simply having a website up doesn't guarantee that it will be found by potential customers. SEO is a crucial component for improving website visibility. * On-page SEO involves creating well-written content that uses keywords relevant to the target audience. * Search engines use crawlers to scrape websites and determine how to rank them in search results. * Deep SEO involves optimizing every HTML tag, image metadata, site structure, and backend files to further improve website visibility. * Many people don't realize the importance of SEO for their website to start ranking. * Funnels, email lists, ads, and social media presence are alternative ways to drive traffic and conversions. * Neil Patel is a leading voice in SEO and a great resource to learn more about it. * Building SEO takes work and is not a plug-and-play solution. * A clear call to action is essential for a website to convert visitors into customers. * Websites should clearly convey who they are, what they do, and how they can help potential customers.

HOLY SH*FT! Episode #3: More On Social Media

Free Training On How To Build the Strongest Version ofYour Business Possible In 40 Minutes/Week: bit.ly/freevideoreveals40 [https://corey68d72d.clickfunnels.com/optin5b5g0spi] In this episode of the Holy Shift Podcast, hosts Corey and Devin dive into the impact of technology and social media on business. They discuss the competition and trends in the industry, and share their thoughts on the future of social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. They also touch on the mindset needed for success as a business owner. Key Points: * Introduction to the Holy Shift Podcast and what listeners can expect * Discussion of the impact of technology and social media on business * Comparison of Facebook and its competitors, and thoughts on the future of the platform * Monetization strategies for social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook * Importance of mindset for success as a business owner Transcript Excerpt: Speaker 1: "Well, today is a little bit different as, uh, you and I kind of got into a conversation just about social media and the impact of technology and a little bit of competition and trends and uh, you know, you started hitting, you hit record and we started just to keep talking about that stuff and thought it might be a good idea to release this. Cuz it's a little bit of thought provoking things, a little bit of insight into what, where we think the industries are going." Speaker 2: "And then the very first time that he's tried to do something new, um, with the Metaverse, he's invested 60 billion into it, and it's worse than Metaverse competitors that have a hundred grand in them. Yep. And so I think what he's pointed out is that he's not good at technology. That's not how he got lucky. He's good at marketing, he's good at networking, he's good at hiring good people, uh, but he's not good at inventing. And that's to me why Facebook's going to fail because the platform itself is already failing and he's trying to transition the remaining cash flow into something new that he doesn't know how to do and that he doesn't have a team that knows how to do. Yeah. And he's not a good inventor. That's not his strong suit." Speaker 1: "Yep. All their growth has come from piggybacking off of other companies or buying them, like you said, like, you know, they just, um, launched their, uh, meta verified mm-hmm. , you know, which is what Twitter just did too, where you can just pay a monthly subscription to mm-hmm. to pay, which admittedly is like actually not a bad way of, uh, monetizing, especially if it you're offering perks. Like, you know, with the meta verified, uh, you get direct access to customer support. Like that alone is worth like 12 bucks a month to a lot of pe a lot of businesses in particular. Um, then, you know, that'll give em a good little cash injection, but that's not an original idea. They borrowed that idea from, from Twitter. Right." Conclusion: This episode provides valuable insights into the impact of technology and social media on business. Listeners will gain a better understanding of the competition and trends in the industry, and learn strategies for success as a business owner.
