Meditation 50: John 21:15-19

Today is our last meditation on John! Take your time with this passage, as I think it holds a lot to consider. Also, there will be an extended break in the production of this podcast. Meditation 49: John 21:1-9

Today's meditation comes from the last chapter of John. In it, we read about Jesus' last sign to the disciples and the simple beginnings of their ministry following Jesus. This is our second to last meditation! I cannot believe that we have come this far and I am so grateful that you have joined me on this journey.

In today's meditation, we read the moment where so-called "doubting" Thomas comes to belief in the resurrected Jesus. We also read what was possibly once the ending of this gospel! Thanks for joining me for another meditation!

Meditation 47: John 20:11-18

Today's passage is about a beautiful moment. We listen as Mary weeps in front of the tomb, and then encounters the risen Jesus who ultimately ordains her as the first person to preach the Good News of the risen Christ. As you meditate, consider the ways that we miss Christ when they are right in front of us!

Meditation 46: John 20:1-10

Today's episode is the beginning of the resurrection! The perceptive among you will notice that we skipped the crucifixion. That is because I was planning to include it as a long-read episode this past weekend. Unfortunately, those plans went a little sideways. At the moment, I think I will go back and record a bonus episode with the crucifixion story for this coming weekend. We will see how that pans out!  For now, this episode is a wonderful piece to meditate with and I am so glad you've chosen to join me today.
