Eighty-year old Marjorie was born in Jamaica and moved to the UK when she was 18. She’s had quite the life, having seven children of her own and the fostering over 40 more. A true matriarch who embodies care and compassion.  Marjorie was remarkably candid, and we talked about topics like death, aging, and her experiences with racism.

Born into a Jewish family in 1930, Margot is a 93 year old powerhouse of a woman. In this episode she shares her crazy life experiences, including stories of survival, war, loss, growth and more.

In this episode, I had the chance to speak to Tony Judge, a Chelsea Pensioner!For those who don’t know, a Chelsea pensioner is someone who lives in the Royal Hospital Chelsea, it’s not a hospital in the modern sense of the word, but actually a retirement home for old soldiers, both male and female. It’s a huge, beautiful building nestled in the heart of Chelsea, and Tony was a delight to talk to, he served over 25 years in the British armed forces, speaks over five languages and has been all over the world!
