Episode 15: Inflammation: When the Body Fights for You, Not Against You

In this episode, we unpack the truth about inflammation—what it is, why it happens, and how it’s actually a vital part of how God designed the body to heal and protect itself. Rather than viewing inflammation as the enemy, we explore how it serves as a built-in defense and repair system, activated when the body senses injury, stress, or imbalance. We also dive into what happens when inflammation becomes chronic, why so many people feel stuck in cycles of fatigue, pain, and dysfunction, and how lifestyle factors like nutrition, stress, sleep, and toxin exposure can either resolve or fuel the fire. This episode will shift your mindset from fear to trust, helping you partner with your body and steward your health in a way that aligns with God’s design.

Episode 14: Eat the Rainbow: God's Covenant and Colors That heal

rainbow—first introduced in Book of Genesis as a sign of God’s covenant—and how it also reflects His intentional design for nourishment and healing in the body. What if the colors we see in nature aren’t just beautiful, but purposeful clues for how to eat? We walk through each color of the rainbow and connect it to the foods God created in that color, breaking down what they do in the body from a functional, whole-food perspective. You’ll see how “eating the rainbow” is both simple and deeply strategic. You’ll come away with practical, actionable tips on how to incorporate a variety of colors into your daily meals, how to shop and build balanced plates, and how to use food intentionally to support energy, healing, and longevity.

Episode 13: Strong for the Calling: Nourishing the Body God Uses

In this episode, we explore the powerful truth that our physical health is not separate from our spiritual calling. God designed our bodies with incredible capacity to heal, strengthen, and sustain us—but many believers neglect the very vessel God intends to use for His purposes. If we are called to serve, lead, disciple, raise families, build ministries, and carry the presence of the Holy Spirit into the world, we must also steward our bodies well. Strength matters—not for vanity, but for mission. In this conversation, we break down the foundational pillars God designed to support a strong and resilient body: nourishing ourselves with whole foods, prioritizing quality protein and healthy fats, staying properly hydrated, and incorporating movement that builds strength and endurance. These simple, God-designed rhythms help restore the body, stabilize energy, and allow us to show up fully for the work He has called us to do. We also discuss the biblical perspective of the body as a temple of the Holy Spirit and why caring for it is an act of obedience and stewardship. When believers pursue strength, vitality, and nourishment from a place of purpose—not obsession—we position ourselves to serve others more faithfully and sustain the calling God has placed on our lives.

Episode 12: Complete Healing: One Standard For Eating Disorder and Weight Loss

In this episode, I share why I hold clients with eating disorders and clients pursuing weight loss to the same standard of care: whole-person healing. Drawing from my background as an eating disorder dietitian, I explain how that training equipped me to recognize unhealthy patterns on both ends of the spectrum—whether rooted in restriction, control, fear, or shame. We talk about the truth that pursuing health does not equal having an eating disorder, and that it is absolutely possible to eat intentionally, steward your body well, and remain free. I also share how Mark 8 inspires my approach to care—just as Jesus desired complete healing, not partial restoration, I believe God’s heart is for full transformation: physical, emotional, and spiritual. This episode is an invitation to move beyond extremes and into balanced, biblically rooted wellness where freedom and responsibility coexist.
