I started this podcast to expand what I started with a newletter I send out within my own FD. It is absolutely the intent to pass on info and tricks of the trade that have often been learned the hard way, so we all can learn from other's experiences. Welcome to TheEngineer’s Corner! This podcast is based on the newsletter that I started at my FD. I’m an Engineer at a small FD in the eastern suburbs of Kansas City. I’m going to retire in the next few years, and I started the newsletter to pass on tricks of the trade and tidbits of info to the guys who are up and coming. I don’t want to be the type of guy who retires and takes all the learned info and experiences with me - if someone can learn from my mistakes, GOOD! I am by no means an expert, but I have learned a thing or two over my career.
