THE BELIEVER'S AUTHORITY IV || Don't Throw Away Your Instrument || Pastor Desire

In this message, we're taken to the banks of Babylon — where Israel sat in captivity, refused to sing, and hung their harps on the willows. But through the stories of Jehoshaphat's choir army, Paul and Silas in prison, and Samson's jawbone, God asks us a confronting question: What have you thrown away that was once your instrument of victory? Whether it's your worship life, your prayer discipline, a skill, or even a relationship — God may be calling you back to what you've set aside. The breakthrough you're waiting for might be hanging on the very thing you abandoned.

DON'T FORGET THE PROMISE: Did God Really Say Rehoboth? || Pastor Desire

Three months into 2026, Pastor Desire (PD) delivers a timely and personal word — a reminder that the promises God spoke at the beginning of the year are still alive, even when life has made them hard to remember. Drawing from Isaac's journey in Genesis 26 and the theme of the year, this message is a call to return to the word, hold fast to the promise, and keep digging — because Rehoboth is real, and Beersheba is still ahead. 1. The Danger of DriftingThree months in, the pressure of life can quietly push the word of God out of your boat. The theme, the promise, the instruction — all of it fades if you are not deliberate about holding on. PD calls the church back to ask: What did God say to you at the beginning of 2026, and do you still remember? 2. Isaac's Pattern — Instruction Before IncreaseGenesis 26 shows a familiar pattern: famine came to Isaac just as it came to Abraham. Isaac's instinct was to follow his father's method and head to Egypt. But God interrupted and gave a specific instruction — dwell in the land. Obedience to that instruction unlocked a hundredfold harvest in the very land of famine. 3. Rehoboth Is Real — But Don't Stop ThereWhen Isaac dug the well at Rehoboth, God made room. But the story didn't end there — Isaac moved on to Beersheba, the well of sevenfold. The point: don't let the blessing become a ceiling. Some blessings, if we're not careful, can stop us from pressing into the greater things God has ahead. 4. You Cannot Experience Rehoboth Outside of ChristJohn 15 makes it plain — apart from the vine, the branch bears nothing. Your Rehoboth, whether financial, academic, relational, or spiritual, can only be sustained in genuine fellowship with God. The promise is real, but the posture matters. 5. The Theme Still StandsSacrifice. Sanctification. Service. Hear right. These were the pillars declared at the start of the year. PD brings the church back to these foundations, reminding us that real growth is not just about receiving blessing — it's about the quality of your walk with God. * If you cannot remember what God said, you cannot hold fast to it — and you cannot contend for it. * Envy is destructive. The Philistines covered wells that would have blessed even them. Check your heart. * The blessing that stops you from seeking God is more dangerous than the famine that drives you to Him. * God is not just interested in your prosperity — He is interested in you. His love is unconditional.

THE BELIEVER'S AUTHORITY III: Know Your Position, Know Your Power || Pst Richard Mason

Part 3 goes deeper into what it means to be in Christ and why that changes everything. This episode unpacks the legal logic of authority, the transfer of dominion from Adam to the devil, and how Jesus reclaimed it — not for mankind broadly, but specifically for those who are in Him. If you've ever wondered why some believers walk in power and others don't, this episode answers plainly: it comes down to knowledge. 1. All Power Belongs to GodGod is omnipotent — no one shares that title. When He swore a covenant with Abraham, He swore by Himself because there was no one greater. This is where all authority originates. 2. The Difference Between Power and AuthorityAuthority is conferred — given by one who has power, to another who operates within a defined jurisdiction. This is why Jesus in Matthew 28:18 says all authority was given to Him: He was operating as the Son, not as God the Father. 3. Adam, the Devil, and the Transfer of DominionGod gave Adam authority over the earth — no being, not even the devil, could operate without Adam's involvement. When Adam fell, that authority was transferred. Sin handed the enemy legal access to the earth realm. 4. Jesus Reclaimed the Authority — for Those In HimJesus' death and resurrection reclaimed what Adam lost — but for those in Christ specifically, not mankind broadly. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature and a joint heir to that authority. 5. You Are the Body, Not Just a Follower1 Corinthians 12:27 — you are the body of Christ. Wherever the head is, the body is. When He was raised and seated in heavenly places, you were raised and seated with Him. That is your legal, spiritual reality. 6. You Died — and That's the PointColossians 3:1–3: the old you died in Christ. What rose from the grave was not you by your old name — it was the body of Christ. The life you now live is Christ's life. That is why the devil has no claim. 7. Your Authority Has a JurisdictionYou have authority over your domain — your life, family, health, and environment. You do not have authority to cast Satan into the abyss indefinitely — that timing belongs to God alone. Know your jurisdiction and operate boldly within it. * The devil cannot act without human involvement — he needs a door. Guard yours. * Demons have knowledge. The sons of Sceva found out the hard way that a wrong answer to "who are you?" has real consequences. * You can be in Christ for 20 years and still be oppressed — the issue is never time, it's knowledge. * You are already seated above principalities and power. Pray from that position, not from fear. The episode closes with a corporate declaration over every believer:"I died in Christ, I'm buried in Christ, resurrected in Christ. I am seated in heavenly places at the right hand of power and authority. I am too loaded to fail." * 🔁 Missed the earlier episodes? Building on last week's foundation of identity, PD unpacks how that authority was obtained, where it operates, and why so many believers are not walking in it. If you've ever felt powerless in your faith, this episode is for you. * Every day of your life, the question will be asked: "Who are you?" * Your response to that question determines what you receive from life. * Even Jesus was asked this same question by the enemy in the wilderness. * In Acts, the sons of Sceva could not answer the devil's question and it cost them. * Identity confusion is a spiritual issue, and the Church must treat it as such. * Going to church does not make you a believer, but as a believer, you should go to church. * You become a believer when you accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ. * "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature." 2 Corinthians 5:17 * With your heart you believe, with your mouth you confess (Romans 10). * Daniel 7:9–13 gives us a cosmic courtroom scene: the Ancient of Days (God) seated on His throne. * The Son of Man (Jesus) is brought before Him and given dominion, glory, and a kingdom over all peoples, nations, and languages. * This dominion is everlasting — it shall not pass away or be destroyed. * This is the legal and heavenly basis for the authority believers now carry. * Ephesians 1:15–23 — Paul prays that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened. * God raised Christ from the dead and seated Him far above all principalities, power, might, dominion, and every name — in this age and the next. * Ephesians 2:4–6 God has raised us up together with Christ and made us sit together in heavenly places. * Your authority is exercised from a position of being already seated above. ① Redemptive Authority * Obtained through what Christ did on the cross. * Romans 5:17 — "They which receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." * Because you are in Christ, the devil has no legal right over you. ② Inherited Authority * Romans 8:14–17 — You have received the spirit of adoption; you can cry "Abba, Father." * The Spirit bears witness that you are a child of God — and if a child, then an heir. * You are a joint-heir with Christ. What He has, you share. ③ Positional Authority * You have been raised with Christ and seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). * Philippians 2:5–11 — God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him a name above every name. * At the name of Jesus, every knee bows — in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. * As one who is in Christ, this authority extends to every dimension of existence. ④ Empowered Authority * Acts 10:38 — "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good." * Luke 9:1 — Jesus called His 12 disciples and gave them power and authority over all devils and diseases. * Luke 10:17–19 — The 70 returned with joy saying even the devils are subject to them. * Jesus said: "Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy." * This delegation is not just for the apostles — it is for all believers. * Ignorance is the devil's greatest weapon. He doesn't have power over you — he has the power of your ignorance. What you don't know, he will use against you. * You can be saved and still live far below your inheritance. Like the prodigal son's elder brother who didn't know that everything the father had was already his. * Sin opens doors. Even tongue-talking believers can create entry points for the enemy through greed, gluttony, and unguarded living. Don't give the devil a foothold — because if you give him a foothold, he will build a trench. * Your authority covers every sphere of life — your academics, finances, relationships, and even the natural resources of the earth.

THE BELIEVER'S AUTHORITY (PT 1) || Pastor Desire

In this foundational sermon, Pastor Desire (PD) teaches on the believer’s authority in Christ. He defines a true believer as one who has accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, confessing with the mouth and believing in the heart (Romans 10:9-10). This is not emotional or by good works, but by the finished work on the cross, making us the righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21).PD clearly distinguishes power (dunamis – inherent ability) and authority (exousia – delegated right). Using Luke 10:19, Jesus gives us authority over all the power of the enemy. We have positional authority (seated in Christ – Eph 1:20-23), delegated authority (sent as He was sent), and empowered authority (by the Holy Spirit).
