Beyond the BS: Real Talk for Digital Entrepreneurs
In this episode, I’m joined by a very special guest, my almost 12-year-old son, Zachary. We talk about what it’s really like to grow up with a parent who works from home, builds businesses, takes client calls behind French doors, and apparently says every “potty mouth word” in the book. Zac shares what he thinks I actually do for work, what he believes an entrepreneur is, what he thinks I’m good at, what annoys him about having a work-from-home mom, and whether he’d ever want to own a business himself. We also talk about money, freedom, growth mindset, failure, not quitting, and why building a business is not always as glamorous as people online make it look. And then, in true Zac fashion, he flips the interview on me and asks why I started my business in the first place. This one is honest, funny, surprisingly deep, and a reminder that our kids are always watching.
