Heresy is simply a belief that goes against what is generally accepted or the official tenets of a religion. In our case, it is outside the generally accepted major .doctrines of the Chrisitan Church. Or in simple terms, we will be coloring outside the lines; and beyond that, we will question who drew the lines and why. We will be discussing a lectionary reading and look at them with “a new pair of glasses”. How does the scripture speak to us in the 21st century?
