Acerca de Break Free and Trust with Jacqueline and Chris: A Redesign for Living

Are you ready to become the creator of your own life? Tune in to Break Free and Trust for real conversations about all aspects of life, death, and everything in between. And healthy conversations between the feminine and masculine. Join Jacqueline and Chris as they navigate relationships, friendships, parenting, work, health, and systems of power with vigorous honesty, full transparency, and raw truth. They courageously support each other by stepping out of the drama triangle and into the field of creative potential. Together they model how to harness the power of relationship as a mirror to befriend our shadow. Jacqueline and Chris’s energy serves as an invitation to each other and their communities to step into life fully, consciously, and courageously. They are committed to the practice of surrendering everything that gets in the way of them living in full alignment with who they choose to be. What stands in the way becomes their way. On their own they are successful, together they are magic, and they model alchemy through the divine union of the masculine and feminine. To learn more, check us out here: http://www.agatheringplace.ca

episode Resentment Free artwork

Resentment Free

Here’s an image that has never left me: holding a resentment is like drinking a little poison every day and expecting the other person to die. Sit with that for a second — it’s absurd. And yet almost all of us are doing exactly that, right now, carrying resentments toward people, places, and things. Some of those resentments we know about. Many more we don’t — they run quietly in the background, and they color everything. Jacqueline and I have come to believe that to truly break free, you have to become resentment free. Not resentment-managed. Not resentment-justified. Free. Why do we hold onto them — and what do we secretly think we’re getting in return? What is it actually costing us to carry them? And how do we finally let them go — the ones we know about, and the ones we don’t? All of this and more in the next hour.

episode Perspective Is Everything artwork

Perspective Is Everything

One of the first teachings Jacqueline ever shared with me was that the most important decision you will ever make is your answer to a single question: is the Universe benevolent? Because however you answer it, quietly, underneath everything, that answer becomes the lens you see your whole life through. Jacqueline and I have come to believe almost nothing shapes a person’s perspective more than this one choice. Answer that it’s hostile, and every hardship is proof you’re under attack. Answer that it’s benevolent, and the very same hardship becomes something happening for you, not to you — an invitation rather than a punishment. Same life. Completely different world. In this episode we are going to look more deeply into this idea. What do we actually mean by a “benevolent” Universe — and is believing it just wishful thinking? If it’s all benevolent, then what do we do with suffering, cruelty, and loss? And how do soul contracts, quantum physics, and the frequency of consciousness fit into any of this? All of this and more in the hour.

episode Intuition artwork

Intuition

“There is nothing more important to true growth than realizing that you are not the voice of the mind — you are the one who hears it.” — Michael Singer, The Untethered Soul  Jacqueline and I have, and continue to have, powerful experiences with intuition. It has brought up the question - how do you differentiate between the voice of your own intuition from the thousand other voices competing for your attention? Michael Singer suggests — you are not the voice of the mind, you are the one who hears it. Intuition, we think, is learning to recognize that one true voice beneath the noise of fear, conditioning and conventional wisdom. But there is much more to this. Once you can hear that voice clearly, you are no longer being asked only to follow it — you are being asked to become it. To Be it. What is intuition, really — and how is it different from a feeling, a fear, or a wish? Can intuition be trained, or is it something we simply uncover. And what does it mean to stop being the sheep and become the Shepherd? All of this and more in the next hour.

episode The Paradox of the Second Marriage artwork

The Paradox of the Second Marriage

On this episode, Jacqueline and I are going to explore what we call the paradox of second marriages. This is both of our second marriages and lost in our own joyful experience we were deeply surprised to learn that the divorce rate for second marriages is 20% higher than first marriages. Now that probably shouldn’t have surprised us given that a second marriage is two people that both catastrophically failed in the first, but it did! Now the paradox is that overall level of happiness in a second marriage is higher than a first marriage so there seems to be a huge gift for those who figure it out. Why is there this paradox. What is behind it? Why do 70% of second marriages fail?  Why do 30% find this new gear of happiness?  All of this and much more in the next ho ur.
