Episode 8 - Pen Pals, Phone Box Robberies & That Weird Exchange Student

In the final episode of Brenda and Alan this season, things take a nostalgic turn before quickly becoming slightly incriminating. Brenda is on a mission to track down her long-lost pen pal, calling on all of Dublin to help find Michelle from Clondalkin. While Brenda was “borrowing” from the Trocaire box, Alan was busy stealing from his home phone box, both of them admitting to childhood habits they probably shouldn’t be proud of. Alan also shares the story of his very strange exchange student, who arrived with a questionable amount of products and left a lasting impression for all the wrong reasons. Episiode 7 - Animal Look-a-likes, Awards & Backseat Changing

In this episode, Brenda and Alan start off with good intentions… but the conversation goes off the rails almost immediately. Alan is fresh from the Gossies with stories from the night, including awkward red carpet moments and being told he looked like a bogger. Brenda, however, steals the show by bringing in her own very questionable trophy. Things quickly spiral into animal look-a-likes when Brenda becomes convinced her Nana’s dog looks exactly like Noel Edmonds, which somehow leads to stories about dogs with very questionable behaviour and the podcast’s “no pervy rule” completely collapsing once again. There are questionable noises being recreated and a story involving a backseat change that probably should never have happened. Episode 6 - Pervert Dogs, Pomeranians & Bad Huggers

In this episode of Brenda and Alan, they try to set one ground rule, no getting pervy. How long with that last? Alan accuses Brenda of being a terrible hugger, which Brenda quickly defends, explaining exactly why he thinks that, only making things worse. There is also a disastrous art competition attempt by Brenda and, of course, another Gossies mention. Alan admits what dog breed gives him the shits, calling them “angry little bolloxes.” And just when you think it cannot get any stranger, the conversation lands on pervert dogs. Brenda is convinced they exist and insists it is all in the eyes. Alan demands a definition, and the no pervy rule officially collapses. Episode 5 - 87% Famous, Thai Massages & a Spanish Text

In this episode of Brenda and Alan, Alan arrives in the Kingdom where he is now officially 87% famous, according to himself. Brenda gets caught short in Killarney National Park and ends up in a very questionable situation involving nature, zero privacy, and an unexpected audience of baby deer. Alan spirals into self diagnosis mode, convinced he has a UTI, while also gearing up for his big night out at The Gossies this weekend. The conversation then drifts into Thai massages, awkward assumptions, and the very firm clarification that there are absolutely no happy endings involved. To round it all off, Brenda finally gets closure on Pedro after receiving a very unexpected text from a Spanish number. Episode 4 - Brenda’s Pedro, Peeing in Public and a Disaster Date

In this episode of Brenda and Alan, Brenda gives an update on Pedro, leaving Alan completely mortified once again.  What starts as a normal catch-up quickly turns into stories about peeing in public, getting caught with the trousers down behind the back of a house, and Alan’s date that ended in a full bathroom emergency.  They also get into men commenting on women’s weight and a very passionate rant about steaks that should be on plates.
