Brother is home from the road and feeling sentimental, and being vulnerable leads him to nitpick everything Sister says. Seriously though, Jon is very grateful to his fans who come to see him tell jokes, and Nash Park from Ok, Dope, who puts together tours and goes on the road with him. WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM TIM ROTH! He's on a road trip to see old friends, and he wants to know how The Sibs handle a limited time and lots of people to see. The Sibs talk about brass instruments instead. 123. It Crawls In Your Bum and Annoys The Emperor

Brother is on the road, so he's a bit lowkey, and Sister is amped up at making mistakes from the start! A side note about pirate based TV shows has The Sibs off and running about streaming, AI and 1984. Jon has gotten so paranoid that he starts accusing one of the listeners of being a bot; so Allison decides it time to reveal a new segment: FACT CHECK! WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM ANDREA! She has some title suggestions for Allison's interview podcast, some food for thought for Jon, and a musical question. WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM EMILI! She has some frustrations in life and she's gonna talk about them! Jon and Allison seem to have freaky fridayed before responding. Very curious.

122. What Am I Doing Here? I Don't Want To do This.

Do we kill spiders or not? That is the question Brother is asking today, and won't accept that Sister feels it's not a yes or no question. So they decide on the definitive answer. Allison needs the listeners help, and when Jon tries to weigh in, it becomes obvious why she's outsourcing. The family experienced a loss, and The Sibs pay tribute to their uncle Doug. Jon tells story about a book he received from Doug that was very formative in his young adulthood, and then refuses to name the book. Allison is baffled. Allison tries to tell Jon about a great experience she had during the week, but it's difficult to speak to him sometimes.So instead they have a vigorous conversation about root vegetables and the history of mustard. Turns out Jon has an uncomforatbly close relationship with the Emperor from Star Wars, so Allison changes the subject by recommending a helpful book, since he won't share his.

121. Regardless of Race, Culture, Religion...Anyone Can Use Steroids

Brother and Sister are talking sports, and you know what that means… SQUABBLES! Not even 5 minutes in, Jon is accusing Allison of bigotry and she must give a heartfelt apology. Allison brings up the previous week's mention of the WNBA, but before she gets to her point Jon needs to gaslight her about her memory. Then a rousing discussion one sibling thinks is about gender differences in sports and the other thinks is about how it's been communicated. Has this happened before? Of course! It's a classic! Jon tries to change the topic but no. **NOTE: The documentary Allison was talking about is called The Equalizer (2016), where current elite athletes are challenging records of the past - using equipment from the past. It focuses on sports from the summer olympics. There is a companion documentary called Champions vs. Legends (2018) that focuses on winter sports.** Halls of Fame…do we need 'em? Are stats fair? More importantly is that candy store still next to Cooperstown? The Sibs agree on the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, but then Allison mixed up The Big Bopper and Buddy Holly and they just can't recover. Brother is tired as he continues losing battles in the war for bed supremacy. Both children are back in the family bed and he's the only one with a problem. Sister has a few add ons from stories from previous weeks, and Jon mocks her morning routine. Allison shames him for his lack of knowledge of WNBA teams. WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM SACHA! He's pushing Jon's buttons and catching up with Allison; but also asks about cities who have turned out better than their reputation. WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM NATALIE! The Podmother has come up with a fun little game, and Jon doesn't understand what's happening.
