121. Regardless of Race, Culture, Religion...Anyone Can Use Steroids

Brother and Sister are talking sports, and you know what that means… SQUABBLES! Not even 5 minutes in, Jon is accusing Allison of bigotry and she must give a heartfelt apology. Allison brings up the previous week's mention of the WNBA, but before she gets to her point Jon needs to gaslight her about her memory. Then a rousing discussion one sibling thinks is about gender differences in sports and the other thinks is about how it's been communicated. Has this happened before? Of course! It's a classic! Jon tries to change the topic but no. **NOTE: The documentary Allison was talking about is called The Equalizer (2016), where current elite athletes are challenging records of the past - using equipment from the past. It focuses on sports from the summer olympics. There is a companion documentary called Champions vs. Legends (2018) that focuses on winter sports.** Halls of Fame…do we need 'em? Are stats fair? More importantly is that candy store still next to Cooperstown? The Sibs agree on the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, but then Allison mixed up The Big Bopper and Buddy Holly and they just can't recover. A quick emotional inventory, a family story, and they're out!

120. What A Stupid Dumb Place

Brother is tired as he continues losing battles in the war for bed supremacy. Both children are back in the family bed and he's the only one with a problem. Sister has a few add ons from stories from previous weeks, and Jon mocks her morning routine. Allison shames him for his lack of knowledge of WNBA teams. WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM SACHA! He's pushing Jon's buttons and catching up with Allison; but also asks about cities who have turned out better than their reputation. WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM NATALIE! The Podmother has come up with a fun little game, and Jon doesn't understand what's happening.

119. Bumper Stickers? What Are We Doing???

The Sibs are recording on Mother's Day so Brother has been busy with preparations to celebrate the mother of his children, and dressing as Liam Gallagher to change his kid's pee pants. First Mate Sister has thoughts. WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM NURI! Nuri has a private message for Chili, and a comment about Allison's Guardian Angel, which leads to a discussion about the responsibilities of angels. ***Note: the show Allison was trying to think of was Drop Dead Diva*** WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM NATALIE! She has some thoughts on bumper stickers, and even though she is referencing a cartoon, The Sibs immediately get political. Then they really drill down on Betty Boop. A quick story about their Grandfather and we're on to the next message! WE HAVE ANOTHER MESSAGE FROM NATALIE! The Godmother had an additional thought about a weird word, which lead The Sibs to digress in a squabble about SWIMMING. Who fights about swimming? Honestly.

118. Butt Mustard

Brother is letting Sister steer the ship this episode, because she had 2 big perspective-shifting events happened in the last week. First Allison ran herself over with her own car, and then Jon's lady love Christina gifted her with a session with a pet psychic, so it's been a pretty big week. WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM TREVOR! It's a reference to one of Jon's old jokes, that when explained doesn't really sound that funny. It's kind of… you had to be there? WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM AUSSIE JERRY! The Sibs had previously pondered where he was from, so he answers and then asks for their go to coffee order. Which causes an incident. WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM ANDREA! She also has a senior dog and wants to know Allison's favourite Chili story. Andrea also hopped on the old YouTube and watched Jon being interviewed by Larry King. Then both sibs have a story about birds. WE HAVE A MESSAGE FROM TAYLOR! He is going on tour with his band Motor League, but feels guilty for being away from his wife and small children, and is wondering if Jon relates and has any advice. 117. Dumb People Fighting

Brother is still homesick but Sister quickly says something for him to make fun of. This week they are acting like they know how the bladder works and why the cosmos matter. Jon has been doing a lot of driving and the soundtrack is very important; so they also discuss art in a meaningful way, saying things like "good to somebody could be bad to someone else". Jon is in Halifax, Allison is in Ottawa and they have both had run ins with listeners in the last week! Allison is pretty sure she's been flagged by some intelligence agencies, which leads to a discussion on how much harder it was to be radicalized in the 90's. Then they reminisce about Rock Junction, a former head shop in Ottawa. The Sibs played a little prank on their mom; then they do some emotional inventory. Before they sign off they talk about albums they love to listen to front to back while driving; Jon reveals Allison read his mind again; and they squeeze in one last thing to pretend they know about - the biology of conjoined twins.
