Love is the heartbeat of God’s nature, the motivation behind all He does, and the greatest of all His gifts. In this final episode of Season 1 of the The Language of God series, we uncover how God’s love is not shallow or conditional like the world’s—it’s holy, covenantal, steadfast, and sacrificial. In Hebrew, the words are אַהֲבָה – ahavah (ah-hah-VAH), love expressed through loyalty and action | חֶסֶד – chesed(KHEH-sed), steadfast covenant love that never lets go. What does it mean that God is Holy? And why does He call you to be holy as He is holy? In Hebrew, the word is קָדוֹשׁ – qadosh (kah-DOHSH), set apart, sacred, completely other, incomparable in purity and glory.
