Christ-Sanity: All Things Christ Podcast
Righteousness answers the question every soul asks: How can I be right with God? In this episode, we uncover how Righteousness is not achieved by your goodness, but received as a gift through Jesus Christ. In Hebrew, the words are צֶדֶק – tsedeq (TSEH-dek), rightness, justice, proper alignment with God’s standard | צְדָקָה – tsedaqah (tseh-dah-KAH), righteousness expressed in faithful relationship. In Greek, it’s δικαιοσύνη – dikaiosynē (dee-kai-oh-SOO-nay), a state of being declared right, justified, and approved by God through faith. Through the vision of Joshua the High Priest in Zechariah 3, we see the divine exchange—filthy garments removed, the accuser silenced, and a robe of righteousness freely given. Discover why self-made “goodness” is dangerous, how true righteousness transforms your identity, and how it frees you to live from God’s approval instead of striving for it.
