Cooking to Quantum

For several years great friends Kathy Price and Tania Kindersley have randomly telephoned each other up and ended up having wonderful and winding conversations. These conversations, which could run as long as two hours, would often start with something as ordinary as a discussion about the best way to make celery soup. Somehow, the chat would leap onto a short contemplation of quantum physics, a gallop through all the human emotions, a quick diversion on the meaning of life, before returning to the wonders of soup. There were many times when Kathy and Tania wished they'd recorded the conversations, because when they were really riffing off each other, the occasional nugget of wisdom or truth or funniness would present itself, only to dissolve back into the ether, impossible to recall. One day, Kathy said, 'Sod it,' and pressed the vital button and  the Cooking to Quantum podcast was born. Here is the place you will find random conversations about life and love and the oddness of human beings, about the search for meaning and purpose and a really good celery soup. In other words, it's all the stuff that question women of a certain age talk about every day. These two happen to love science, and love soup, and love horses; they love asking impossible questions and floating off into the improbable and learning new things.
